Terry was panicking, his breathing heavy as he tried to figure out what to do.
He was turning into a mermaid.
“No, that can’t fucking be.” Said Terry his voice sounding feminine and slightly musically to him. It scared him.
His eyes darted around, so far no one else seamed to have noticed that he was changing into a mermaid before their eyes. They where too busy having fun in the pool, he couldn’t call for help it would cause a panic. That was the last thing anyone wanted but he couldn’t stay here.
He looked down at his leg to see the small patch of scales was about the same size, but he now clearly had breasts poking out from his white lifeguard shirt.
That imagine, caused the more animal side of his brain to go into overdrive. He had two chooses to fight or flight.
He couldn’t fight it but he could run from it.
So he did.
He climbed down the ladder of the lifeguard tower and dove into the water and headed as fast as he could to the edge of the pool and climbed out. He then began to run toward the staff entrees where his locker was and his stuff. He had to get out of here, he had to get away.
Some people nearby looked at him strangely, normally a lifeguard yelled at people to stop running but here was one running. Most just assumed he just had to use the bathroom and was in a rush and went back to whatever they were doing.
He used his keycode to open the door to the staff building and began to walk down the hall toward his locker. Maybe walk was the wrong word…more like stumble. His vision was going blurry, his feet didn’t want to move independently of each other and more then once his shoulder slammed into the wall of the hallway.
The hallway lead toward the lockers and a doorway labeled male staff only, inside there was another room with multiple lockers and a shower/bathroom for the male staff. Right across the hall was a matching bathroom/locker room for the women staff.
He had to get his car keys, he didn’t know where he would drive too…maybe the hospital, maybe the ocean or just away.
He stumbled into the room almost face planting on the floor. His skin seamed to be on fire by now, his throat parched.
His legs took him not to his lockers but to the shower room where the welcoming water was. He stumbled toward one of the showers and flipped on the water.
The water felt so good, so welcoming.
His knees were weakened and a second before he fell to the ground he put his back to the wall and lowered himself to the ground.
From his position he could see the large mirror which lined the wall opposite of the showers.
He and so many others wondered why the owners had put that mirror there, it was always annoying but now he hated it because he could see what he looked like.
What looked back at him through the mirror was a very attractive woman about his age resting against the titled wall as the shower water ran down her face and body. Her skin was pale but looked perfect, her long wild hair went down on one side to her lower back. Her hair was silvery white which really caused her bright blue eyes to stand out.
Her frame was small, as if she was standing, she would be lucky to be five feet tall however she wasn’t standing, she was sitting. Her white lifeguard t-shirt was too big for her but since it was soaked in water it was stuck to her body showing her small frame. Her breasts where smaller then he would normally like in a woman but given her size they where large enough and thanks to the combination of cool water and a white t-shirt her breasts where on full display.
He couldn’t see her core but given the rest of her body she was likely fit however that is where normality ended.
Beside a ripped apart pair of red swim trunks with the words lifeguard written on the side growing out of her hips was a long thin fish like tail. It was actually very beautiful to look at, a mixture of metallic silver, pure white and soft blue scales which moved outwards much longer than any human feet would be. If he had to guess the woman’s totally length would be well over 7 feet from head to tip of the translucent blue fins and almost 2/3rds of her length was the tail.
“My god.” Said Terry, there was no running now he was a mermaid sitting in the locker room of a water park.
