Terry just lied there wide eyed as he looked down at himself…herself.
There was no hiding it, no trying to fight it but he was now a woman and a mermaid.
Still he wasn’t ready to mentally accept that he was now a she and had a rather beautiful silver, white and blue tail which stretched out over half way across the room.
He grabbed his head with his hands, noticing for the 1st time the light blue membrane which linked the lower joints in his hands making them webbed.
“This…this can’t be real.” Said Terry his voice sounding so strange, musical and feminine.
He didn’t know how long he just sat there with his back to the wall the water running down his new body rather sexy in his view mermaid body and going down the large single drain located in the center of the shower room.
“Hello? Terry are you in here?” said a voice from the locker room area as Terry snapped out of it for a moment.
He knew that voice, that was Jack…that was his best friend since middle school and one of his coworkers here at the waterpark.
“Jack…over here.” Said Terry softly, he was afraid of the reaction, but he couldn’t just lay here. It would be found sooner or later.
“Terry, you sound different…” said Jack as he turned the corner and saw him…well her and jumped back. He looked surprised to see a mermaid lying on the floor of the men’s staff shower room.
“Holy fuck…. is that you?” inquired Jack
“Yes.” Answered Terry
“Holy fuck…you’re a chick.” Answered Jack
“And mermaid.” Added Terry his voice hard and angry as he glared at his best friend. “Will you get some help?”
“Yes, of course.” Said Jack with a grin as Terry rolled his now bright blue eyes and titled his well her head a bit.
“What?” inquired Terry in an annoyed tone of voice, but he knew Jack well enough to know what he was thinking. A very beautiful girl was lying on the ground in a wet soaked white t-shirt with no bra under said T-shirt. His friend likely had a hard on and if he was in Jack’s shoes he likely would as well.
“Nothing, I will get help.” Said Jack as he turned and ran out of the room.
A couple minutes later, he returned with the supervisor who gasped as well at seeing Terry lying on the floor in his new mermaid form.
“Alright…we will call 911.” Said the supervisor “Whatever you do don’t touch him…well her. Unless you want to be a mermaid as well.”
“Ok.” Said Jack
“You worked today right Terry?” inquired the supervisor
“Yes.” Answered Terry
“Great…now we have to lock down the park and screen everyone.” Stated the superior
“It should be fine, we chlorinate the water so much.” Countered Jack.
None of them knew that you are not a normal mermaid, you are a super spreader. The natural oils on your very skin contains the virus in large amounts and chlorine actually spreads that out to an even greater extent. One of the largest pools in this water park was a hot bed of the virus, and with each person going out of that pool and into another it was spreading the virus to other pools and other people. The shower water still running off your body and onto the floor where your friend was standing before going down the drain into the cities water system was also highly infected with the virus.
It was only a matter of time before the next person turned into a mermaid or merman.
