"Next what?" asked Keith.
"Next, I don't want to raise a baby."
"Wait a minute," said Keith. "That's my baby too. I should..." Then Ty used his power, making Keith turn away and forget. Which, at least, solved the problem of him having to tell his Mom and Dad.
Back at home, Ty's house was empty. Dustin had been married off as Debbie and Ty's foster parents were long gone. So Ty was there with his baby girl Kelly.
"Kelly," said Ty, "it's just you and me. I'm going to use my power and make some changes. First of all, you need to be old enough that I don't have to be changing diapers."
Ty let his power loose. The baby began to get bigger and bigger as she visibly aged. She grew older until she was 14--only a year younger than Ty and quite an attractive redhead, who looked a lot like both Ty (her mother) and Keith.
"Next, you need some clothes." Ty snapped his fingers and Kelly was in a blouse and skirt.
Kelly, though, was still crawling around on the ground. Ty used his power again. He gave Kelly knowledge, knowledge of the things that anyone would learn to do when they got older. So now she could walk, talk, eat regular food, and generally act like any other girl her age. He also made sure she knew about his power and wasn't afraid of him.
"What? Where?" said Kelly. "I remember you... you're my mother, but you changed back to a guy. But I don't remember anything else."
"That's because you don't have anything to remember," said Ty. "I just gave birth to you today and I used my power to make you almost my age."
"Mother? Should I call you that?"
"You can if you want but 'Ty' is better around other people. I'm a guy and nobody knows I gave birth to you. It can be our secret..."
"Okay, Mother! But..."
"Don't worry, Kelly. I've had a bad life without real parents. But now that I gave myself a daughter by magic I'm not going to treat my daughter like my foster parents treated me. Come on, follow me." Ty used his power once again.
They walked into one of the unused rooms of the house--only it wasn't unused any more. Kelly had her own room now. It had everything a teenager might need, except for things she'd have to buy on her own, like CDs, since she didn't exist until a couple of hours ago. "Thanks, Mother," she said.
"Is there something else you need?" asked Ty.
"Well..." said Kelly
