SUDDENLY!
Jonathan began to grow!
of course,
Jonathan was a big and jolly person, so he always wondered what it would be like to be a giant, stomping round the world.
Slowly, but surely, he started getting bigger.
However, his clothes weren't growing with him. He had failed to take into account that his formula would have no effect on his clothing.
He was approximately 7'9 feet tall, but now he had grown to 8 feet tall. His lab coat looked somewhat smaller on him.
as the growth started, Jonathan sat on a nearby sofa [that's where the camera was aimed] and grinned.
"The formula seems to be working. I have grown to 8 feet tall."
Soon, Jonathan grew more and more; expanding to 8'2".... 8'3"... 8'4"....
before long, he'd grown to 8'9". a whole foot bigger. His pants were quite tight on him.
One creak more and he'd grown to 9 feet tall.
Knowing full well he'd destroy his lab and his house if he grew any bigger, Jonathan decided to continue the experiment outside.
Taking the camera, he left his lab, and exited the house.
He set the camera up and kept the film going.
by this time, he was now 9'5, and still getting bigger.
"Turns out the formula was stronger than i thought; i'm apparently growing at a rapid pace."
He was getting bigger and bigger; too big for his clothes to contain.
"Apparently, my formula doesn't seem to affect clothes. But a few more tests and experiments will solve that problem."
by then, he was now 9'9".
His clothes looked rather tight on him, almost to tearing point. His shoes were also beginning to chafe his expanding feet.
"Wow." Jonathan said. "I seem to be expanding at an alarming rate."
INDEED. He could see his clothing stretching and getting tighter and tighter and tighter and tighter and tighter and tighter.
Suddenly, one of the buttons popped off his shirt. then another. and another.
SOON, ALL HTE BUTTONS HAD POPPED OFF, EXPOSING HIS EXPANDING CHEST AND BELLY.
Then, his belt snapped, and his pants slipped down. He pulled them up, and found they now fit him like a glove.
iT WAS THEN HE LOOKED AT HIS REFLECTION IN THE GLASS OF THE WINDOW. AND HE SAW HIS EARS WERE EXPANDING.
"Wow." Jonathan said in amazement. "What is-"
But Jonathan never got to finish that statement as he felt his feet hurting.
He looked down to see his toes popping out of the front of his shoes, for his feet had begun to swell to much larger than their original size.
He watched as his shoes began to split and rip, then they fell apart completely. and the same was true of his socks.
He stood in the yard and watched as his feet were now much bigger and wider than usual.
his body scaled up in size, and suddenly, it almost felt like if it was being deformed and twisted.
his ears became bigger, almost like those of an elephant.
then, his legs became bigger and stronger, since they had to be strong enough to support all the upper body weight that he would have at giant size.
His pants, including his underwear, split and collapsed.
his chest puffed up, so his heart could grow and be moved up to the top of his chest, so the blood could easily reach his brain and go around his body, ripping off his shirt and lab coat in the process.
Jonathan's beard and hair fell out, & his Head and face pushed out slightly, to have his head fit his bigger brain.
WITHIN SECONDS, Jonathan was now a giant humanoid creature. None of his clothes fit anymore. not that he needed clothes anyway.
