Coral scrolled through the profiles again, wondering what else she could change before they got home. She was sure Adam would want to be turned back into his original 15 year old self, but decided he could wait a little longer and really experience what it was like to be the younger sibling. He actually wasn't complaining nearly as much as she thought he would, and that had her thinking about how the magic affected reality, even when one was aware of the changes. The whole world really had adjusted itself to make Adam-as-a-5-year-old seem to have been the way things always were, and even though she KNEW he'd once been 15 and older than her, it felt completely... correct, right and normal that he was her younger brother and she was 5 years older than him. She realized she even had faint memories of when her parents had brought him home from the hospital and she got to meet her sibling for the first time!
That gave Coral a thought: what if Adam wasn't her younger brother by quite as much? In fact, what if they'd been born twins?! She could still be the older twin, but she was immediately ecstatic at the thought of her brother being her best friend and constant playmate, and she quickly scrolled through the profiles to bring hers up.

Toggling to the AGE category, she changed hers from 10yo to 5yo, not really caring if she was the older twin or not enough to figure that out, but she tweaked her height and weight to just over Adam's at 3'11" and 44lbs to stay the BIGGER sister [smirk]. Quickly hitting SUBMIT CHANGES, it was only as she felt a booster seat pop into existence under her that she realized she'd left the overall settings the same as when she'd changed their mum's hair color. In only 5 seconds Coral's body shrunk, losing 31lbs and just over half a foot. She turned her slightly smaller hands over in awe, noticing how her clothes had shrunk with her, just like Adam's.
Glancing over at her brother, she found him gaping at her - she hadn't given him any warning that she was changing anything else, and even though their mum hadn't noticed a thing, Adam had just watched Coral regress from 10 to 5 years old in what felt like the blink of an eye! Her entire body had shrunk rapidly as her face rounded out, cheeks plumping slightly to how he somehow faintly remembered them being 5 years ago. "This is insane." he breathed.
"What was that, honey?" Katherine's eyes found Adam in the mirror as they pulled into their driveway and she put the car into park. The twins had been chatting quietly most of the way home, but she thought they'd fallen asleep for the final bit of the drive since it'd been relatively quiet back there. More often they were either screeching with joy or anger, as 5-year-olds were prone to do, and she'd been relieved to have a calm ride home after the overload of sensation that was a trip to the mall. "I think you two should head upstairs for a nap or some quiet time before dinner, what do you think?" She unbuckled Adam on the driver's side and walked around to release Coral from her seat before gathering the shopping bags. "If I let you take your new video game toys upstairs, will you promise not to fight over them and rest a bit?"
The twins nodded absently while staring at each other sort of oddly, but Katherine chalked it up to them being overtired from the outing, and she gently nudged them both toward the front door. Coral clasped Adam's hand as they stepped inside and headed up the stairs, and her heart fluttered as it always did when she saw their innate bond visibly displayed. She was so lucky to have two healthy children that rarely squabbled. Having twins had been a blessing after so many years of trying and multiple miscarriages. They were built-in playmates, and she and Joe had been content with their two-for-one bargain after all the fertility treatments.
