With the last week in September, everyone usually begins preparing for October, and Halloween. Usually for Animalia, this means preparing for one of Animalia's greatest "carnival events": Spookyville. Of course, with everything else going on in the world, it was hard for Animalia and its colonies to remain unaffected.

"So, Ellie," asked the Horizon Agent, trying not to pry, "How are things with you and Rod?"
"We're officially at the, how you say, benefits-with-friends stage." Answered Ellie, causing the agent to smile. Ellie might be capable of speaking near-perfect English, but she was still prone to getting sayings wrong.
"That's good to hear," replied the agent, "but have you heard about the latest in Ukrane and Russia?" Ellie didn't speak at that but made a noise that sounded like a cross between an angry rhino's snort and a human's frustrated groan. "Well, Russia's 'mass conscription' is causing a lot of problems, and quite a few people have decided enough is enough and are leaving Russia. We yet don't know how many there will be, but quite a few of them are coming to Animalia and its colonies."
"Oh?" asked Ellie, more than a little interested.
"At least two of them are your parents." finished the Agent, causing Ellie to fall to her knees with happiness.

Miss Fabina was finishing editing the last of her pirate-themed videos when another Horizon Agent came into her new office. But why soon gave her a headache. She'd already received a warning about the "bimbos" coming to Animalia, but after seeing their files, she was already feeling a sickening taste build in her mouth from how fake their curves and hair looked, how bloated their lips were from Botox/filler, and just how... pink/trashy they were, no matter what race they were.
"... and they've requested corruption-style conversions?" asked Miss Fabina, fighting through the disgust that she felt just by reading the files.
"They did." said the Agent.
"How about I finish what I'm working on now before meeting with them?" asked Miss Fabina.
"Understandable." said the Agent. "Right now, they're getting their implants removed and filler dissolved."

"So how are things for the new Dinotopian Colony?" another Agent asked Jeremy via Zoom.
"We've got at least two other places narrowed down." answered Jeremy, who was both a scientist, a convert, and a contact for Horizon's Dino City division. "But we're still trying to decide on one or the other."
"For once, I'm glad that those trolls who said, 'nowhere in or near Florida' actually had a good idea." said the Agent.
"Why?" asked Jeremy, more than a little curious.
"You've heard of how Hurricane Ian is causing havoc in around Florida?" asked the Agent.
"Once or twice." replied Jeremy.
"JT, Abby's Uncle is already organizing a Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction to help deal with the problems there."
"I'm already married with kids." said Jeremy quickly.
"That's alright, the auction is for single Animalians/Dinotopians only, usually for those who are either having no luck the traditional way or are LGBT+."
"I see." said Jeremy, who had seen the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bara House in Lyre/Animalia on the website and was helping plan out a similar house in Dino City.
