"I never heard of a demon or anybody named Zepar?" I said remarking his challange.
He, Zepar glarred at me, his red eyes seemingly burning though my chest.
"NEVER IS FOR A LONG TIME!" he said back, his eyes remaining fixed on my every move.
Thinking this to be some war of words and this creature was without a doubt one of the masters, I turned to walk out of the museum, and run!
"PLEASE, OH BUT PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE! I WILL GIVE YOU MY WORD, A PROMISE I SHALL NOT TRY TO INJURE YOU, BUT HAVE ONLY THOUGHTS OF MAKING YOUR LIFE MORE...INTERESTING." Zepar pleading for me to remain and talk with him.
"You booming voice tends to make me apprehensive, I would not like to fall into the moat." saying it I stepped again into the blistering bright lights, looking up at the human face, that began to smile.
Zepar's smile should have sent me running for safety and or my very life. Yet, I foolishly stayed to talk, conversing with him as his words could mean almost anything, to anyone, for just about whatever he wished to do next.
"I saw a Texas Longhorn bull and........." I began to ask the first question on my mind.
"HUH, THAT BULL WAS ANGELA, GIRLFRIEND OF RYAN THE WORLD'S LARGEST DONKEY DRAFT ANIMAL!" exclaimed Zepar his words trailing off to a round of snickers and muffled laughter.
I tried to rationalize out what I saw, and what was said, but nothing fit.
"Praytell, why would such a monster Jackass be friendly to a bull as his girlfriend?" a simple question tossed onto the speaker's floor.
The muffled laughing stopped abruptly. "EXCUSE ME YOUNG MAN, BUT IF YOU PLEASE, DO STOP ASKING THINGS BY BEGINNING WITH THE WORD, PRAYTELL! tO BE QUITE BLUNT, ANGELA CAME HERE BEFORE ME AS A PRETTY YOUNG LADY, RYAN HER BOYFRIEND SOUGHT THE RELEASE OF HIS YOUNGER BROTHER. HE WAS CURSED YOU SEE, STANDING ABOUT AS A MULE COLT, HIS MIND TWISTED, THINKING LIKE A TRUE BEAST HE LONGED TO MATE AND LIVE AS WOULD THE COMMON BEAST." said this very demon of the realm of Demons.
I did listen, hearing his short explanation, it sounded as if this Father of Time named Zepar governed over people, making them act and or become as were animals.
A fantasy situation without a doubt, I again took a step back toward the museum's doorway.
"I SEE YOU HAVE GRASP AT WHAT I SAY, BE YOU AS OTHERS WHO COMING BEFORE ME WOULD IMPLORE FOR TO BECOME AS PART OF THE ANIMAL WORLD? IF THIS BE TRUE, THEN STEP CLOSE TO THE MAOT, PRESENT ME YOUR SOUL, AND FEEL THE SENSUAL DELIGHT OF BECOMING AS JUST ANOTHER ANIMAL!" beckoned Zepar of me and my fantasy interests and past.
"You are kidding me, that bull was a young girl and the draft donkey her friend, their's would be my fantasy too, but nobody can make such things happen!" I said it but remembering and having seen the two animals, I did believe it was true.
Standing two steps from the moat, I looked up as Zepar leaning over his claw crab legs, peered down.
"I WOULD SUPOSE YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME, IF SEEING ME AND WHERE I AM IS NOT ENOUGH, THEN REACH OUT YOUR HAND OVER THE MAOT AND LET MY CLAW TOUCH IT." beckoned Zepar, his chance to let me try his power.
Thinking for a second and giving in to my wild fantasy, I stepped very close to the maot, reaching out my left arm and open hand, as if wishing for Zepar's friendship.
"DO TELL, YOUR FANTASY, WHAT IS IT?" asked Zepar his one claw beginning to pick up off the rock.
"For as long as I can remember back, I have longed to be like....."
