It amazed Jeff how many things had changed since he discovered the Chronovac.
Over the past few weeks Jeff had reduced several of his teachers into young children, even creating little brothers he now watched out for. He had also watched as teachers of the school had changed. Before useing the Chronovac, the teachers at the school were some of the oldest in the state. After altering several of them, he had watched as newer, younger teachers had been brought in to take their place. These newer teachers, who would not have had the chance to teach otherwise, had energized the school. They were young, trying to further their careers and willing to adapt with the times. Jeff had even noticed how these new teachers seemed to relate easier with their students.
While Jeff had noticed the change, their were still several elderly teachers remaining on staff. Jeff pondered what to do with them. The first grade class seemed to be growing by the day. Perhaps Artie and Cheyenne could use some additional classmates.
Jeffs neighborhood was also changing. Once populated by burnt out and bitter middle aged adults, Jeff had reduced several of his neighbors into energetic, happy children. Children who now looked to him as not on their babysitter but as a role model. Jeff savored this, not just because he was getting paid handsomely but also for affecting their lives in a positive manner.
Still, their were some unintended problems.
Alicia, Jeffs very cute neighbir and girlfriend, found herself pregnant. It wasn't what Jeff had intended and was the only hiccup in his otherwise idealic life. While Jeff was willing to support Alicia, she had remained somewhat distant in her decision, frustrating Jeff to a certain degree. This is why he now began to think of alternatives.
Getting rid of Cris entirely was out of the question. As an adult he had been a rather irritating and grumpy man but Jeff didn't want him to cease to exist. This is what led Jeff to consider changing reality. Perhaps making Cris, Alicia's twin brother. It would solve Jeffs problem, the only question was how old the twins would be?
Jeff could very easily make Cris 16. It would relieve the tension between he and Alicia but he did wonder if Cris would then become overprotective of his sister or if the relationship between he and Alicia would change.
The other option Jeff considered was making Cris and Alicia twins, just younger. Currently Cheyenne and Artie were the youngest in the group that Jeff watched. While the kids got along great, he wondered if perhaps the pair would benefit from more children their own age, especially if they lived right next door.
Regardless Jeff realized something. He had already done alot to better his school and neighborhood, but he still had a ways to go. What he decided to do next though was a decision he needed to think over carefully.
