Diane walked into the strange little store on a whim. She was searching for something different for her and her sorority sisters to do.
While the Gamma Pi sorority was one of the more popular sororities on campus, their recent hazing violation forbade any of their members from attending any rush parties that were going on over the course of the week and all members were restricted to their sorority house for the duration of the weekend.
Needless to say, the girls didn't feel like studying during their temporary incarseration. So it was Diane's job to find something interesting for the girls to do tonight.
"Welcome to my shop Diane, it is a pleasure to meet you," the old man said as he stood from behind the counter. "You will definately find what you are looking for here."
Taken aback by the old man's words, Diane responded, "How did you know my name?"
"Please, please, please, young lady, I meant not to startle you," the old man explained. "Such a simple bit of magic is beneath explaining. I know your time is short, so lets see if we can find something that will surpass your needs for entertainment."
Still shaken by the fact the old man seemed to know so much about herself and what she was looking for, Diane replied, "Yeah, sure, okay. I need something different to help us kill some time tonight."
"I have just the thing," the old man stated with a smile as he picked up a strange wooden box. "It is called "The Game of Change." Perfect for an exciting evening for you and your friends."
"A board game?" Diane asked skeptically. "We're a little old for board games."
"Is it any worse than renting videos and eating pizza?" the old man asked with a smile. "I assure you, this is more than any board game you had ever seen. And for $20, I guarantee an evening none of you will ever forget."
Still a bit shaken by the old man's words, Diane handed across the money and left the store with the game under her arm.

It took a bit of explaining but Diane was able to convince her sorority sisters that the game would be a lot more fun than watching videos or doing make-overs. Even so, some of the girls decided to watch tv or read in their rooms, leaving Diane, Cyndi, Joy, Sue and Jerri to play The Game of Change.
