An ex-convict gets the body swap ring

added by Anonymous 10 months ago AR Male Magic

Seven years passed in prison for 'Brittle Bones' Bob, as he was often called by his so-called friends who failed to appear at his release. All that 7 years - were gone, just because he was caught with a girl snorting coke all over his shaft. And maybe add in the assault of two officers far larger than him. The energy and strength drugs could give you, and add that on top of the adrenaline from the thought of getting arrested. Man... Nick wanted to do those things again, but he won't because that would get him arrested again.

Bob got his stuff from Officer Jim, the one who he nearly threw over after losing to him in prison poker. The officer gave Bob his articles at the moment of his capture. A dirty wife-beater that has yellowed with age, a silver pendant with his mom's picture inside (heaven rest her soul, 17 crumpled bucks, and a golden ring he hasn't seen before. He was about to ask Jim if there was a mistake, but he withheld his tongue when he realized he could pawn it off for quick cash. Bob grabbed the items, and left the prison gates, but not before Jim gave him a disdainful look. The idiot is still probably bitter after he lost that poker game in the end. He had to strip his clothes, and parade his dangling dick for all the prisoners to see.

It wasn't a surprise that no one would fetch Bob after his release. His foster family must have forgotten him already. That's what he would do if he were them. His friends - or rather - traitors who ratted him out to the police are nowhere to be found. They were the only ones who knew where he was, and it's no fucking coincidence that police would just show up in his shack in the middle of nowhere. Of course, they would not be here. They'd get their bone brittle and broken if Bob ever sees their face. That leaves Bob with no one - just in the middle of this desert, alone, with a couple of miles to the nearest city. He would not dare tread those miles underneath the blazing sun. He took a shaded seat and bided his time.

As Bob sat, he felt the ring in his back pocket. He pulled it out and admired its golden glow, and the strange runic markings etched onto the inner and outer surface. It's like that fantasy movie he watched with his mom once. But this ring ain't got no prophecy nor adventure. Just a simple ring that could barely fit on his finger - or wait... Bob swore the ring hole looked smaller a moment ago. And it's now a snug wrap around his ring finger. It looks quite nice on his battered hand, if only he didn't think of pawning it off.

"A ring!" A voice rang out beside Bob.

Bob nearly jumped from his seat, "Jesus Christ kid. My heart nearly fell." It's just a kid. Pale, with a shirt that barely clung to his bony limbs, with a missing tooth, and an ever-curious eye - he kinda reminds Bob of himself back when his mom is still alive. "Where are your ma and pops, kid?"

"Inside. Can I look at your ring?"

If the kid was a couple of years older, he'd say an immediate no. He won't risk the ring getting stolen when he's so close to pawning it off. But he's just a kid, and he cannot steal this off of his finger. He opened his palm and let the kid enjoy his time with the ring. But as the kid's hand touched his, a sensation Bob could only describe as "out of this world". It's like he was pulled out of reality and stuffed back in. All of this happened in a moment smaller than a fraction of a second. By the time Bob regained his vision, he saw a sight he could only find in mirrors and dreams. He was looking at himself, but this duplicate looked a whole lot bigger - and quite older than he remembered.

"What the fuck!?" Bob exclaimed. "My- my voice. It's different." It was indeed different. It was the voice of a child, more specifically, the child he spoke with earlier. He looked below him and saw that he was now wearing the kid's clothes. Not only that, Bob now has the kid's body. His fingers are small and without scars, and on his finger was the ring, now even smaller to fit his childish fingers.

"Mi- mister?" Bob's old body said. "What happened?"

The kid raised out his hands and saw the many scars and calluses made from menial labor and bashing out the skulls of Bob's enemies. His biceps weren't that big but he could feel the strength coming from them. "I'm... I'm an adult! I'm old" The kid laughed.

For a moment, Bob saw the ring glow. Then he put two-and-two together. "It's this ring's fault! I don't know how but this ring swapped our bodies. Are you hearing me, kid?" Instead of listening to him, the kid was more enthused with his now adult body. He flexed his far longer arms and ran laps around the sun-baked parking lot. He was laughing while doing these. Bob was glad that no one else is here to see this.
