“I wish that the world would become like a Dungeons and Dragon game, with multiple fantasy species and monsters, where magic is real, where people specialize in the classic classes like fighters, wizard, warlock and so on.” said Ryan
“That is a big change.” Admitted Gaz “I may not be able to do that without people knowing.”
“Oh…I want them to know, that sounds fun.” stated Ryan “You can make everyone change randomly based to become a class, race and so on.”
“Ok…this is still going to take a lot of my energy, I will not be able to grant any more wishes for a long time.” Stated Gaz “Are you sure you want to go through with this?”
“How long?” inquired Ryan
“Hard to say…at least a year likely a lot longer.” Stated Gaz “To give you an idea of how this will happen. I will change the world, the buildings and such. Then the animals and lastly the humans.”
“Ok.” Confirmed Ryan
“Last chance to say no or change anything.” Offered Gaz
“I still want this to happen.” Said Ryan as Gaz smiled and nodded his head before energy began to gather around the genie as multiple D&D books which had been in a small bookcase came out of the wall and danced around him the books coming apart as Gaz used the books to base this new world on.
“Now…your wish is granted!” yelled Gaz as a flash of light went out from him blinding Ryan.
When the light faded, Gaz was gone and so was the lamp but nothing had changed.
“What the hell?” inquired Ryan and then he noticed that the room was beginning to change. The drywall of the walls of his dorm room had become wood. His TV changed to floating disk with a crystal on the bottom, even the remote seamed magical, his gaming chair was floating on some kind of crystal as well.
He ran to the window and looked out in time to see the other dorm buildings begin to shift from bricks and concrete to marble and wood.
The students on the green stood around confused, watching the world change. He was lucky, his room looked out over a large green which had a few basketball courts, multiple benches. It was a popular place for people mostly women to sunbath and it was full of people either relaxing or heading to or from class. All of them had stopped to watch in confusion as everything changed.
A squirrel sitting clear as day in a nearby tree began to change, it’s body growing slightly larger as a pair of small wings came out as the squirrel became a tiny dragon with fairy like wings. Beside it another squirrel looked as stunned as the humans but that one didn’t change at all.
“People should begin to change any moment.” said Ryan as he looked out at the crowds ready to watch everyone change including himself, he began a strange feeling in his gut his change was coming soon. If Gaz spell started here then he should be the first to change.
