Unicorns and Dryad

“I can’t believe you got me pregnant, dude,” Starlight groaned. Moonglow sighed.

“Well, you knocked me up, too, so it’s all fair as far as I’m concerned.” They were both heavily pregnant, due to give birth any day. Though since the moment they got too pregnant to mate with each other, they both wanted to be done.

“Hang on, I think I sense a maiden in distress,” Starlight said. One of the side effects of being a unicorn was that they were guided towards any nearby distressed maiden, and felt compelled to offer as much help as they could. Moonglow nodded.

“I feel her too. Let’s go check it out.” Much more slowly than they’d like, due to their heavy wombs, Starlight and Moonglow made their way in the direction of the maiden. They walked into a glen. A heavily pregnant dryad was laying on the ground in pain.

“Maiden, how can we help you?” Starlight asked.

“I’ve gone into labor but don’t have my sisters with me to guide me,” the dryad moaned. “Please, find them!”

“I’ll go look,” Starlight said to Moonglow. “You stay with her and ease her pain.” Moonglow nodded. He laid down beside the dryad and put his horn on her chest. The dryad sighed in relief.

“Thank you. What’s your name?” the dryad asked.

“Owen,” Moonglow replied. He frowned. That was odd. He’d forgotten his human name, why did he provide it now?”

“Mine is Matt,” the dryad replied. The two stared at each other. “No way.”

“That magic guy transformed you, too?” Moonglow asked. Matt nodded. “What name did he give you?”

“Laurel.”

“Laurel. Well, it’s better than what I got. Moonglow. Carter, he went off to find your dryad sisters, he’s Starlight now.”

“I don’t know, I think I like those names,” Laurel replied. She suddenly tensed. A newborn satyr slid out of her vagina, onto the forest floor. “I didn’t even feel that!”

“These horns work wonders,” Moonglow said dryly. He moved, about to take his horn off her chest.

“No, don’t! I was impregnated five times before I began to show and was left alone,” Laurel begged. Moonglow stared at her. “It took me a while to run as fast as my sisters. Please, don’t move until I’ve given birth to all five.”

“If that’s what will ease your distress, maiden, I will do it,” Moonglow said solemnly. He kept his horn on Laurel’s chest as she gave birth to another satyr, a human, a centaur, and finally a minotaur.

“Thank you,” Laurel said in relief. She gathered her offspring and held them close.

“None are nymphs,” Moonglow commented.

“The offspring of nymphs will always be that of the impregnator, rather than the impregnated. And since male nymphs are rare, nymph infants are, too.” Laurel looked down at her brood. “The satyrs and centaur will be given to their fathers to raise.”

“And the human and minotaur?”

“Both fathers were merely passing through the forest, rather than living within it. I will raise them as my own and they will decide their fates once they are grown.” Laurel held the human and minotaur babies, both male, to her breasts. Both suckled eagerly.

Moonglow suddenly felt a strange pressure. He moaned.

“Moonglow?” Laurel asked, concerned. Moonglow stood. He braced himself and, following some sort of innate instinct, pushed. There was a splat behind him. He turned. A unicorn foal was struggling to its feet. Moonglow gently nudged his offspring upright. His udder, which had grown in during the last month of pregnancy, began to drip with milk.

“Drink, Starglow,” Moonglow instructed. His offspring, Starglow, nursed from him obediently.

“You were pregnant, too?” Laurel gasped. “I thought you were just fat!” Moonglow snorted in amusement.

“No, part of the transformations Starlight and I got was that we wanted to mate constantly. And since unicorns have both kinds of equipment, we both got pregnant right away. We already agreed what we’d name our foals. Mine is Starglow, his is Moonlight.”

“Aw, that’s sweet,” Laurel cooed. Two dryads emerged from the bushes surrounding the glen, as did Starlight. “Maple, Sycamore, please, take care of the satyrs and centaur,” Laurel asked. The dryads nodded. They picked up the satyr and centaur infants, then melted back into the forest. “They will be brought to their fathers by pregnant dryads.”

“Ah,” Moonglow said. He looked at Starlight. “What took you so long? She gave birth and so did I!”
