Trouble at the Fairy Club

The school's greenhouse served as a meeting place for the Fairy Club. Among the flowers, Fern Lee raced her friend Ivy Robbins. The little fairies gleefully flitted through the air like bullets as each tried to outfly the other.

"Can't catch me!" Ivy laughed, flapping her iridescent dragonfly wings as hard as she could.

"Ha, in your dreams!" Fern scoffed, beating her colorful butterfly wings harder to catch up. Unfortunately, Fern only fell farther behind... and started falling to the ground. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!" she screamed in panic as she plummeted.

"Fern!" Ivy gasped in shock. She halted her race to flutter down to check on Fern. "Holy crap, are you okay?!"

"My wings feel sore," Fern said, rubbing the brilliant orange and black monarch butterfly wings growing from her back. "I guess I tired them out by flying so fast." Suddenly, to her horror, Fern's wings broke off in her hands. "WHAT THE HELL?!!"

"My God, Fern, you're growing!" Ivy gasped.

It was true. Fern had shot up from her original six-inch height to eight inches, and she was still growing. As the wingless fairy reached a foot in height, she touched her ears. She screamed as she felt the pointed ends rounding beneath her fingers. As she reached two feet, she moved her fingers to her forehead, feeling her antennae receding into nothingness. "No, no, no!" she screamed, tears pouring down her freckled cheeks. "Oh God, no!" Soon she reached three feet tall. Her growth spurt had torn her tiny fairy clothes to shreds.

"Fern, your hair!" Ivy wailed.

"What about my hair?" Fern asked, her voice cracking with worry.

"It isn't purple anymore!" Ivy screamed. "It's auburn again!"

"Why is this happening?!" Fern cried as she reached four feet tall, her face contorted with a mixture of fear and sorrow. "Why am I human again?!"

"I don't know," said Ivy. "You're body's rejecting your morph, I guess? Let's go find River. Maybe she'll know."

By the time they found River Thornton, the president of the Fairy Club, Fern had completely regrown to her human height of five foot eight. River was staring at a giant, human-sized chrysalis.

"How much longer is this gonna take, River?" a bored voice from inside the chrysalis sighed impatiently.

"You should've been done half an hour ago, Willow," River answered, frustratedly fiddling with the antennae that stuck out of her emerald green hair. "I've got no idea what's taking so long. Are you sure you're not morphing?"

"Totally sure," said Willow. "That's it, I'm coming out."

The chrysalis ripped open to reveal a tall, skinny blonde girl with a deep tan and green eyes. She stood around six foot one and could only weigh a hundred and thirty pounds at most. "Why didn't I change, River?" she asked.

"If our chrysalises can't change you, that usually means you weren't meant to be a fairy," said River. "Some people are just allergic to certain changes. I even recall that Haylee Irons was allergic to ALL of them. Poor girl. Perhaps you can give the Mermaid Club or the Anthro Club a try, or maybe..."

"River!" Fern cried out. "Hellllllllp!!!"

River stared up at Fern's new body in shock before regaining her composure and flying up to look the human girl in the eye. "Fern! Why on earth are you human again?!"

"Ivy and I were hoping you would know, River," Fern said. "We were racing each other when my wings suddenly felt weak. Then they fucking fell off! Then I started growing back to my old height, and my entire body turned human!"

"But you can't be allergic to the fairy change!" said River. "You've been a fairy since your freshman year!"

"Does this mean it isn't my body's fault that I didn't morph?" asked Willow.

"I guess," River shrugged. "I'll need to look into this."

Willow gave Fern and Ivy a friendly wave. "Hi! I'm Willow Bowers. I'm the newest member of the Fairy Club! Or... I was going to be the newest member of the Fairy Club." The tall, slender girl sighed in frustration and disappointment.

"You still can be," said Ivy. "Once I find a way to fix my friend, it'll probably fix you too. I'm Ivy Robbins, by the way, and this is Fern Lee."

"Nice to meet you," Willow smiled. She suddenly realized that Fern was completely nude. "Uhhh, I'll see if I have some spare clothes to lend you, Fern. Nice titties, by the way. They're so much bigger than mine."

"Thanks," Fern smiled, patting her plump tits proudly.

"Alright, time to think," said River. "Where do we even begin investigating something like this?"

"Hmmmmm..." Fern mused. "Do you think my sister Phoebe might know something? She's in the Futanari Club, and she's friends with Michelle Cockburn, the Futa Club's president."

"You think your sister'd know something?" asked Ivy.

"Pheebs knows a lot of natural remedies to reduce dick rejection rates," said Fern. "Even if she doesn't know why this is happening, she might have a way to fix it."

"We could also talk to the girls in the Mermaid Club," said Ivy. "Mermaids are similar enough to fairies."

"Or the Anthro Club," suggested Willow. "They have a nature focus like we do. They might've had a problem like this before."

River pondered all these suggestions. "Alright, I've made a decision."
