The beauty mark on her left cheek rose up as she softly smiled at him. Her greying auburn hair was tied in a side ponytail draped over right shoulder, her soft grey eyes looking over him as she handed him a small basket of bread and cheese.
“Oh… thanks…” Colin smiled meekly.
“Dr. McAllen, Nurse Harris, we need some assistance!” A hospital staffer said.
“We’ll be back.” Lori said.
“How… long am I….?” Colin asked as he slumped back.
“Try to relax… it’s gonna be a week.” Zoya said.
Christy sobbed as she ran out the door.
Now it was just him and bread lady.
“I think I’m just gonna get some…” Colin said as he fell asleep.
She placed her hand on his cheek and kissed his forehead…
Day One:
Lucy came by with his favorite movies, holding his hand as he snoozed.
Bread Lady brought muffins, taking the tomboy’s seat and Colin’s hand as she left for the gym.
Day Two:
Marinette entered his room siping a coffee as she sat with him and watched him sleep.
Bread Lady joined her with some cookies and a reassuring hand on her shoulder. As soon as Marinette got a client call, Bread Lady ran her hand across his chest.
Day Three:
It was a slow day at the hospital and everyone else was busy, so Zoya brought him a poke bowl right as Bread Lady came in with some pretzels and mustard. Zoya hungrily gobbled them up as Bread Lady spoon fed Colin his lunch.
Day Four:
Jessie managed to get a day off and came by with a couple friends to say hi. They left right as Bread Lady came back with some lobster bisque in a bread bowl.
He slowly ate with a slightly stronger smile.
“How’d you know?” Colin asked.
“You asked for it in your sleep.” Bread Lady smiled.
Day Five:
By now, Colin was able to actually sit up and keep his eyes open.
Wendy played a couple rounds of Driftcore Zone with him, and Bread Lady returned bearing some pepperoni flatbreads for them to eat.
Day Six:
Colin talked with Sam about the way things were going back at his place.
“And then Alya laughed so hard that Pepsi shot right out of her nose, no shit, out of her nose!” Sam laughed.
“How’s Christy doing?” Colin asked.
“Marinette did her thing, after that I think Christy’s pants couldn’t be torn by a- oh…” Sam said as his solemn face, “She’s her old self again.”
“That’s good.” Colin smiled, “Zoya said I’ll be ready to go home tomorrow morning.”
“Visiting hours are up, Sam.” Lori said as she brought over Colin’s hospital food.
“See you tomorrow baby…” Sam sighed as she kissed him deeply and walked away.
Bread Lady snuck in and found the clothes Sam set out for him, wedging a flyer in the pants pocket.
Day Seven:
Colin came back to his apartment as he was showered in hugs and kisses.
“Where do you wanna eat for breakfast?” Sam asked.
“I dunno…” Colin said as he slipped his hands in his pockets and found the flyer.
“Montgomery Family Bakery.” He read.
“Never heard of it, but it looks super good.” Jamie smiled.
They all headed over to see Bread Lady… no, Delilah... loading some muffins into the oven.
“Hello there.” She smiled, “Especially you, Mr. Greys.”
Everyone started eating and chatting each other up as Colin took a bite of Lemon Poppyseed Muffin.
“I have a surprise waiting for you upstairs…” Delilah said.
He slowly walked up the stairs to see an entire apartment on the second floor.
“Okay… what’s the.. surprise?” Colin blushed heavily.
Delilah laid on her couch in nothing but her apron that left her quivering moist pussy out for him to see.
“It’s me, my darling…” Delilah blushed.
The girls stopped eating as they heard creaking and thumping upstairs.
“He’s back alright…” Lucy sighed.
“Who’s back?” A twenty something blonde asked as she noticed the thumping upstairs and ran up.
“In three… two… one…” Lucy counted.
“MOM?!” The other woman screamed as the sounds of Colin screaming and furniture falling rang out.
Colin sat there flustered as Delilah held him close.
“The divorce was finalized months ago, Laura.” The baker sternly frowned. “Your father cheated on me.”
“So now you’re getting back at him by banging a guy my age because why?!” Laura shot “He fell down at work?!”
“He went to the hospital Laura, they had an IV hooked up to him!” Delilah shot back.
“So why isn’t he hanging out with his little friends?!” Laura shouted with a stomp.
“He came to see me!” Delilah yelled. “I’m not gonna sit here and let you shame me for dating a man I love!”
“Looked more like lust to me…” Laura scoffed.
“Well like it or not, he’s joining us for Thanksgiving tomorrow!” Delilah shouted.
“Thanksgiving’s tomorrow?!” Colin shouted as he choked on a mouthful of muffin.
