Having gotten checked in the Nurse said "Sorry miss, but I'm going to have to ask you-"
"Don't worry she got authorization to be here." Pam lied
Reality distorted a bit again and the Nurse continued "... oh... Right of course she did. Well just sit tight for awhile and rest up. You seem alright, but there could always be a small fracture somewhere."
Pam had a smirk on her face, but Drew with concern managed to make Dana's mouth move and ask "Are you seriously going to force an injury to make money?"
Pam's face was shocked and she started to stutter "n-n-n-no! I'm not going to lie about an injury like that!"
Drew touched a necklace pendant that was the coin the old lady have given him and said "An old lady gave me this. Told me the eye sees through all lies. I was wondering what was going on, but now I definitely see what was happening."
"No, you don't." Pam sputtered Drew winced a bit as the Dana was internally telling him that he was overthinking.
"Yes I do." Drew asserted "Maybe not everything, but you were probably lying to a police officer about some traffic violation... Then lied about something, then lied some more, and somehow that led to me changing gender and age. Did you even think about how your lies were affecting those around you?"
Pam the habitual liar said "Of course I was..." Then there was a silence. The coin told Drew the truth behind the lie. Pam got the memories of this reality where she did think about how her lies would affect those around her and Drew. Really Pam hadn't been thinking about Drew when she fibbed about him being a woman, and was absolutely not thinking about him when she had deaged herself. What really surprised Pam was that this version of herself found the idea of being with Dana... somewhat exciting at least for the novelty.
Drew sighed and asked "Are we home?"
Pam chuckled, and then while gesturing to the room said "Yeah, We're in our master bedroom in our mansion!" to emphasize the sterile and somewhat spartan hospital room... Until it wasn't. It was very much a master bedroom of a mansion.
Drew flopped Dana's body next to Pam's and asked "With that power of yours... you were really going to really hurt yourself to get less than a million when you could've lied about your bank account?" Pam's face went a bit red with embarrassment as she decided she wasn't going to answer. Drew then got a bit closer and asked "Do you still love me like this?"
