I considered that. What was it I truly wanted? I wanted my parents back, but I was raised on stories about how bad an idea it was to resurrect the dead. My mother and father would not want to be brought back, for religious reasons. I looked at Joella. Her elegant black hair swished as she shifted her weight under my gaze. Despite all the fame that Joella had received during her music career, she had confided in me that she felt more alone than she had before she began singing. All of these thoughts went through my head as I considered my wish. Finally, I knew what I wanted.
"I wish that I was Joella William's true sibling, and a singer almost as good as her. I wish also that we were signed as a duo act by the record label, so that she doesn't have to feel so alone all of the time."
Jo's eyes shone with tears
"You would do that for me?" she asked
"Of course," I replied, clearing your throat, as your voice seems to go up a few octaves "I already love you like a sister, so I'd be honored to be your older brother."
"Um, I don't think that you'll be my brother, or older," Jo said, gently, gesturing to your body "See for yourself."
