Kevin was in awe of the beautiful forest nearby during the car ride. It was like something that came out of those nature magazine photos that he saw while waiting for his dentist. The fauna was wandering around, minding their own business. The pathway wasn't as bumpy, which is something that seems wildly different compared to the parks he visited in New Jersey. After several minutes of strolling through, they arrived at the ranger station where the park ranger stopped her car at a nearby parking spot. "Okay, we're here." She said to Kevin as they both toddled inside.
"Hi, Danielle." One of the other park rangers said as they opened the door. "You're going on your break?" He asked her. "Yeah, but I picked up a guy who was lost." Danielle told her co-ranger. "Could you fill for him, please?" She asked for a favor. "No problem. I'll just have him be in my office." He replied. "Come with me." The other toddler ranger told Kevin as he followed him to his office.
Kevin seemed dumbfounded to find out that the ranger's office looked more like a tiny nursery, with toys being scattered at the corner of the floor. Being that he was used to adults having offices with more mature decor, this surprised him at first. "So you were lost?" The ranger asked Kevin. "Well yeah, I woke up at a part of the forest all of a sudden." He responded to him. "How did you get here?" The ranger was curious. "Well, the last thing I remember before I got here was that I was sleeping on my couch and then I dozed off." Kevin addressed him.
"Do you live around the area?" The ranger asked him. Kevin then said, "No, I live in New Jersey. Though I definitely was a grown man before I got here. Though I looked more like a giant man with hair all around my chest, armpits, and groin." The male ranger looked at him with an odd glance, as he never heard of a person who had visible hair around those areas. Then all of a sudden, the little ranger started giggling. "Hair around your chest. That's so funny." He continued to laugh as he began to wet his diaper, as it was visibly swollen within a few seconds.
"Are you alright?" Kevin asked him. "Yeah, I'm good. You can go now." The boy said happily. "But I don't even know where I am. Can't I at least get something before I go?" He was concerned. "Oh, alright then." The ranger then opened his cabinet to pull out a card, but the material looked like it was made from those board books. He scribbled something with a crayon before giving it to Kevin. "Okay, here's your thing." The toddler ranger said to Kevin before he pointed at the door. "Goodbye now."
Kevin toddled out of the door, not really knowing what to do next. Eventually, he looked at a group of parked strollers and went outside to see what they were doing there. As he got inside and turned it on, he realized that it was like a rentable scooter made for toddlers. There was a bright colorful screen in the front, where he tapped on "city" as his destination. All of a sudden, the stroller started to move by itself. The diaper clad toddler giggled as he was eager to see what was this "city" awaiting him.
