You head to the TV area, because you heard that they might play a ton of winter themed stuff, including the Christmas specials that they often show. However, they also begin to show other stuff during Christmas, as you knew that winter had a bunch of other stuff to watch when you were going to see those things on TV.
During winter, you could also watch sports to see what was happening. Mostly, skiing, snowboarding, a snowball fight competition, ice shuffleboarding, bobsledding hockey, and figure skating. Most of these well known winter sports were pretty hot around winter time, even when they are being performed in front of billions of people during Christmas. Although there were also shows that had sports related to Christmas which were basically just game shows if you saw them.
