I decided that I would just take a little journey. I know, I was making a big deal out of being hungry, but for some reason I wanted to continue. I'm not sure why, but I had to see if I could feel myself up.
I walked to the door of the school. A few feet from the door, I saw a boy and girl. They were both hall monitors, but neither one was paying much attention to the halls. They were too busy looking into each others eyes, and whispering to one another to notice me. I began to leave when a twisted smile crossed my face. I decided to take a snack with me.
Now the two were deep in an embrace and took no notice of me. I walked silently behind them and stopped just a few inches from the boy. I then quietly put my arms on the lockers on both sides of them. Finally they broke the embrace. The girl was the first to notice me, and let out a gasp of surprise. The boy then saw my arms, but I quickly struck! I literally took them into my body, stretching like a net to absorb them into me. In a few seconds I took my normal form again.
Once more my belly bulged from it's load. Mumbling could be heard from my stomach. It was ironic. Those two wanted to be together and now I was going to fuse them into one, but not in the way they had planned. I turned and exited the school.
I then realized that I would have to devour many people. I didn't know what drove me to do this. I could have easily made everything normal with the ring, but something inside me made me continue. I did not question this instinct. I simply walked away from the school, looking for a place to answer the call of nature, and find my next meal.
