Rick aimed the camera at the mall security officer nearby, who was too focused on watching over the food court to notice them.
“Hey Em, why don’t you sneak up behind him and get in the photo too? That’d be funny.” Rick suggested.
“Ha ha! Great idea Rick!” Emily replied as she stealthily snuck up behind the officer. Peering over his left shoulder, Emily pulled a face and made some bunny ears behind his head as Rick snapped the photo.

“Damn, that’s hot.” Rick quietly said to himself as he inspected the photo of 2 lesbians kissing passionately. A blonde haired girl on the left with a nice rack and a latina girl on the right with rich brown hair and a great figure. Rick would've certainly tried his luck with the latina if it wasn’t for… if it wasn’t for… Wasn’t there someone he was in a relationship with?
“Ricky, you okay babe?” Rick recognized that voice. Turning around, he found staring at him a blonde bombshell dressed in a strappy yellow top, skin-tight jeans and open-toed heels. He felt his mind stir and refocus at the sight of her until he suddenly remembered. This wasn’t any blonde bombshell, no. This was Cecilia, his girlfriend!
“Cecilia, hey! I didn’t know you were at the mall too,” Rick greeted her. “How did you get here?”
“Oh, um, I’m not really sure how I actually got here, haha.” She replied. Try as she might, Cecilia was drawing a complete blank as to how or why she was here at the mall. Almost as if some force brought her here on purpose.
Before he had met Emily, Cecilia was Rick’s girlfriend who he dated for about 2 years before Rick eventually broke it off after finding out Cecilia was incredibly vain and obsessed with how she looked. However, now that Emily was some random latina woman in love with someone else, the role of Rick’s girlfriend was currently unfilled. Instead of leaving him single though, the camera decided to remedy that fault in the universe and get him back together with Cecilia, retroactively altering reality so that the two of them never broke up.
“I might stick around with you if that’s okay?” Cecilia asked her boyfriend. “Shopping for clothes is much better with a partner. Actually, what are you doing here at the mall?”
“Oh, I’m actually here testing this old camera I’ve got,” Rick explained, holding up the polaroid for emphasis. “I found it at a garage sale earlier and I wanted to see what kind of pictures I could take.”
“Wow, this thing is super retro! Hey, I got an idea! How about we use that junk of junk to take some cute pics of us? I bet you’d love to have some vintage photos of your stunning girlfriend to hang up around your room, huh?” Cecilia indulged herself while striking a sexy pose for Rick.
Rick chuckled. “Yeah, what better way to keep testing this thing than on ourselves right?” Of course, the couple would be completely unaware of any and all changes that they’d experience as a result.
Cecilia pondered for a moment. “Hmm, how about we start with a photo of…”
