Dan felt like he was coming down off of a high. He was sitting in the back of Kat’s car again, on their way home. The day was a happy blur to him, but he remembered most of it.
He remembered running after sticks and toys as Kat threw them for him to chase. He remembered sniffing the other dogs and them sniffing him. Dan’s tail wagged as he remembered playing with Stewart, chasing each other and having so much fun!
And when Stewart mounted him again, it had felt so good! His ass tingled with pleasure and dick stiffen and start to withdraw from his sheath with the memory.
Dan was sad it was over, but he still felt so content and happy! He felt so much like a dog.
Dan cocked his head to the side. But he was a dog, wasn’t he? Suddenly he wasn’t sure. Dan let out a whimper, it was so confusing. He was forgetting something, something important.
Before the dog park, he’d been in the car? And Master had rolled the window down, and that made him happy! But he’d been trying to remember something, wasn’t it that he used to be-
Dan jolted out of his happy daze. Human! He was Human! He let out a whine, “Grrnoooooo!!”
Kat laughed and glanced back at her dog, “I was wondering if you were gonna come back out of doggie mode Danny. You looked like you were having a lot of fun back there!”
Dan struggled to control his whining, “Hrraaow,... hrow can yrou… WHINE… hrow cran yrou do thris too mee!! BARK!”
Kat laughed again. “Oh my, I can’t understand a word your saying! Your such a good boy!”
Even through his terror, Kat calling him a good boy made Dan’s ears perk up and his tail wag.
Kat smiled back at him, “That’s right Danny! You’re so cute!”
Dan’s tail thumped against the seat. Through his panic, his master talking to him helped to calm him down.
Dan tried to think, tried to come up with a way to keep what was left of his humanity. But even in his head, he wasn’t safe.
“GrrrI cran BARK! Droo risss. Rii jruss nreeed BARK trooo…. BARK trroooo BARK BARK. GrrUCK!”
His internal monologue had become just as canine as the rest of him. And it quickly drowned out any thoughts of humanity.
Kat just chuckled and parked the car in front of their house.
Dan thought about trying to escape again, but he couldn’t even remember how to open the door. He waited until master opened it for him and attached a leash to his collar.
Kate smiled and gave the leash a tug, “Come on Danny!”
Dan followed Kate to the back yard, where she tied his leash to the dog house. There was a bowl of kibble and some water waiting for him, and he quickly trotted over to eat his fill. Kate came over as he ate and pet his spine.
Dan relaxed, at least his master was taking such good care of him. It felt so good, his whole body tingled.
Tingled? That meant something… was he changing again? Dan didn’t think so. Before, when he changed, his body felt like it were so malleable. This almost felt like the opposite, more like his body was settling and firming up.
Kat smiled as she watched Danny eat. The magic had reached the tipping point. Now that Danny was fully dog, it wouldn’t be long before his mind and soul caught up.
She scratched behind his ears, and Danny’s tail wagged.
