It took a while. Petra and Trace were making the classic mistake of new predator anthros--hunting with their human side rather than their animal side. What will I do if the rabbit goes there? The kind of thinking that would never enter the mind of a real wolf.
Once they stopped overthinking killing rabbits (regular, naturally occurring rabbits, not rabbitmorphs!) working as a team was surprisingly easy. Petra would start, drive it to where Trace was waiting, one of the other would seize it in their jaws and quickly break its neck.
Before changing, Petra would never have believed she could have eaten raw, still bleeding, meat, but the anthro-she wolf was bolting down the still-warm flesh of the rabbit. Her carefully designed digestive system should handle her new diet with ease, although it was definitely one of the things that was being monitored by the overlords of the Park.
The two anthro wolves were licking the blood off each other's faces. For both, it was a moment of perfect peace. Petra wasn't sure she wanted it to ever end.
