The High School Prom, was basically about a bunch of teenagers getting ready for the prom. This all took place at a Japanese private school, and there are multiple stories in that movie, along with a ton of characters that play throughout it. You could tell how many people were going to get a happy ending that you thought would be profound.
There are characters like, the female class rep, the school delinquent gang leader, the otaku who struggles getting a date, and even the side characters have stories of their own. You get yourselves, popcorn, soda, and chili-cheese dogs at the concession stand after getting tickets, and head into the theater to watch trailers for the other movies which were basically about other genres. You couldn't tell when they were coming out yet, but suddenly the movie began, but something caused you, and your girlfriend to pass out.
