“Its already beginning.” Circe said and sure enough the cocoon began to emit a faint green glow for a few minutes before it began to shrink, eventually ending up about the size of a plastic grocery bag with two lumps inside it that wriggled with increasing intensity.
“And they’ll just tear out on their like a butterfly?” Krystal asked.
“Oh yes, and for the same reasons too.” Circe said her eyes fixed on the cocoon.
“This is so wild! I can’t wait to see them!” Krystal said.
“All you need do is wait.” Circe said,”I must attend to something else but you can handle it from here since the process is all but finished.”
“Do I need to do anything?”
“No. Their new instincts will handle that, just be ready for that.” Circe said and walked away.
The cocoon began to wriggle in earnest now and Krystal knew it wouldn’t be long before 2 new fairies were born.
