Aziza woke up two hours later, experiencing a massive headache. Fixing Jennifer had taken a lot out of her.
Part of it was the nature of the Glendale Curse. The demon who had created it was very powerful indeed. She had barely been capable of banishing it a couple of years ago with Kylie's help.
But a larger part of was Kylie herself.
A huge component of magic was emotion, and removing Kylie's spell involved experiencing all of the Kylie's feelings had invested in it, the vast majority of which were extremely negative and ugly.
Aziza had never felt such overwhelming hatred for someone before by anything outside of Hell, nor had she truly understood just how much pain Kylie had really been in until now. She had never understood the depths of Kylie's shame.
Aziza took a sip of her now cold tea, set the cup down, and burst into tears.
Tom rushed over to her.
"Are you OK?" he asked.
Aziza grabbed Tom's hand gently, and wiped away tears with her other hand.
"I'll be fine. Where's Jennifer?".
"She went out."
"That makes sense. She probably wants to experience life again. She hasn't really been able to in a decade."
"Exactly. She's a lesbian now, by the way."
Aziza chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Tom asked.
"I'm curious about whether she was always sapphic, or whether our soul bonding made her gay. I think that some of me rubbed off on her."
Tom chuckled himself. C'est la vie.
"So Jennifer said that we can all stay here for a couple of days if we want to. Unless you'd rather go back home."
"No, let's stay for a little while. I want to see Seattle."

One Hour Earlier...
"Martha, I'm going out, where are my socks?!" Jennifer asked gently instead of screaming like she used to.
Before Martha could answer her, the missing socks, which had been tucked underneath Jennifer's bed, suddenly flew into her hand.
Her blue eyes grew as wide as saucers.
"That's new..."

Elizabeth was browsing through a bridal catalogue, looking at dresses. She showed one she liked to Maria.
Maria herself wanted to pick something simple.
They discussed who Maria would like to invite to the wedding. While Elizabeth had lots of friends and family, and had already selected her bridesmaids, Maria on the other hand pretty much just had her fellow parishioners from church and no family to speak of. Maybe a couple of coworkers would like to come, but Maria wasn't sure since she didn't know them very well.
Elizabeth and Maria laughed, imagining Robbie trying to seduce a bunch of religious chicks.

Regina explained her situation to Meiko, Brenda, Tiffani, and Shannon.
"I'm really going to miss all of you, but my destiny lies elsewhere. Thank you for your love and hospitality."
"And making you immortal. Don't forget that" Shannon added with some light sarcasm."
The budding goddesses and their partners understood Regina's wishes completely.
"Don't be a stranger, OK? Promise me you'll visit us every once in a while" Meiko pleaded, hugging Regina.
"Of course. I love you girls."
Tiffani offered Regina some banana bread that she had baked.
"I'm guessing you're going to be doing a lot of traveling. You'll need something to eat."
Regina smiled.
"I don't think that I need to eat anymore, but I'll definitely want some later. Sheena will too. Thank you."
Regina cast a spell, and a portal opened.
