It began when I made her clothes disappear

The Great Change: Therapy Session

Greta Von Hauser and Jean had long since returned home from their Jamaican Me Crazy vacation, both Born Women well rested, and Greta now sporting a fetching tan.

Greta was back at work as a psychiatrist, which she found to be a rewarding but often frustrating job.

Psychiatry paid well, and she enjoyed the feeling of helping her patients with their issues, but sometimes it was hard to not be personally affected by her charges.

For example, she had one patient, a New Woman named Jessica Wilson.

Jessica, who was a tax accountant, had formerly been a gay man named Nick.

Nick had been severely obese for most of his life, which had resulted in the young man suffering from depression and body dysmorphia. He had even self harmed in the past because of it, as well as abuse from his family for being gay.

When The Great Change happened, and Nick became Jessica, her problems hadn't gone away, they had just changed.

"I hate being in this body. What's the use of being some breathtaking bombshell when everyone else is exactly as beautiful as you are? If everyone in the world is beautiful, than nobody is, you know?"

"That's a very common complaint nowadays" Greta observed. "One that I don't buy into. I think people are upset by their loss of privilege. The playing field is equal now. Everyone has to get by on merit instead of winning the genetic lottery or being born a man."

"It isn't just that" Jessica huffed. "It's a loss of identity. I took pride in being a gay man. I wasn't happy, but at least I knew who I was."

"You don't feel like you know who you are now?"

"I mean...kinda? I know who I am. I've had to develop a new persona since becoming a woman, and I'm mostly OK with who I am now, but when I was a man, I was part of a community that loved and accepted me. I was a bear, and I hung out with other bears. I enjoyed playing with flabby man tits, and rubbing hairy bellies. I mean, boobs are great too, but they aren't the same. I'm just another beautiful face in the crowd now. Oh wow, and speaking of, have you noticed that it's impossible to get fat anymore?"

"Is that a bad thing in your opinion?" Greta asked.

"I'd like to at least have the option! Last month, I ate an entire pizza, a pitcher of beer, and an entire pan full of brownies every day for a week, and I didn't gain an ounce. Don't try and tell me that isn't unnatural."

Jessica paused.

"It's like...someone planned the Great Change. It wasn't an act of God, I don't believe that for a second, and not just because I'm an atheist. I believe that somehow, someone forced their will onto the entire world, and forced everyone to fit their narrow view of what a beautiful woman is. That's fucked up. Taking people's agency away is fucked up. And that's a huge reason why I'm still depressed and still seeing you."

When Jessica's session was over and she left the office, not really feeling that much better than when she had come in, Greta rolled her eyes.

"What an ungrateful bitch", Greta thought to herself. "I make her a sex symbol, and she finds a way to have a problem with it."

"It's a girl!" said the doctor happily.

Everyone in the operating room laughed.

Of course it was a girl. A boy hadn't been born since 2016.

Tiffany smiled through tears of joy.

She was finally a mother. Her dream had come true.
