You arrive at the large house, but the front door seems to be locked. You look through a few windows, and suspect nobody's home; then you spot an open window that would provide entrance to what looks like a large laboratory room, though you can't see very far because the lights are off. Given the equipment inside, you figure the owner of the house must be some kind of biologist. Since it's starting to rain and you have nowhere to go, you decide it's probably best to seek shelter inside for now, and you're unlikely to be seen. With a bit of effort you climb through the window and crawl inside, seeing various tables with solutions and beakers bubbling away in the little light that comes through the windows. You start stumbling into the darkness trying to find a light switch when suddenly you feel something hit your neck, which stings a bit. "Ouch..." you mumble as you try to figure what it was.
That same moment, the light suddenly goes on and a man in a lab coat stands there with a dart gun in his hand, and now you can see you have a tiny dart in your neck as well. "I thought I heard something! Shouldn't have left that window open, I guess. Oh well, I was in need of new test animals anyway. You'll make a fine..."
