You were really surprised when you discovered him in your old treehouse out in your backyard. It was one night when you saw something big, red & furry slip into the old treehouse your backyard. You went out with flashlight in hand to investigate & saw it. A foot tall red anthro squirrel (naked of course). "What you doing in my treehouse?" You demanded to know. At first he squeaked at you like the squirrel he is & then he said "Sorry. I thought this wasn't in use." You admitted it hadn't been in use sense you were a kid. The squirrel then asked "Can I use it as my home?" You replied to that with a confused "Don't you got a home kid?" He sounded quite young. "No. I'm a wild squirrel." He answered. You'd heard of some people who had themselves turned into anthropomorphic animals deciding to be wild animals. So your reply to that with a smirk was "It seems a squirrel moved into my old treehouse." You then headed back inside your house. And from that day on you left some food out for him weekly. You ended up naming him Nibbles because he refused to even admit he had a name; he seems to like the name gave him. For the first 5 months you tried inviting him in your house for a lot of stuff; but he refused. He kept telling you "Squirrels don't belong in houses." That's when he actually talked to you. He's not much of a talker (at least not in human sounds). He actually told me prefers not to make human sounds; only squirrel sounds. So he's been living in your treehouse for about a year now. He's made it his home. Today you brought out your game system, a small table, a power cord (you have it plugged in inside), a chair & a footstool & a TV. You set everything up & turned on the TV & game system. You sat down & began playing it. You noticed Nibbles looking down at the TV from the tree. You in a nonchalant manner "I wish I had someone to play this game with." You watched out of the corner of your eye the red squirrel boy climb down the tree & sneak up on the footstool & hop up onto it. He sat on it on his hindquarters. You asked without looking at him "You want to play?" "You serious? You would let a wild squirrel play with you?" Nibbles asked surprised. You with a small chuckle looking over at him "I bought it outside so you could play with me you silly squirrel." "Thanks." He said happy as you handed him a controller. So you began to play a game together. After a bit you began plugging him for information. "How old you anyway?" You asked him. Nibbles replied "Not sure. I just know I a kid." [Kinda figured by his voice.] You thought. "So your parents filled out the paperwork so you could become an anthromorphic red squirrel?" You asked guessing. "No. My sister actually. She was my legal guardian." He answered. "Was your legal guardian?" You asked puzzled. "Yes. She had decided to become a feral animal & be adopted as someone's pet & told me so. I told her if she wanted to do that she would have to fill out the paperwork so I have my be transformed into an anthromorphic red squirrel & then let me be a wild. I loved squirrels all my life. And I decided I wanted to be one; an anthromorphic one. She said fine on 2 conditions. One - I would leave her alone after I become an anthromorphic squirrel. And two - never reveal to anyone that she isn't originally an animal; especially to her owners. I agreed to both conditions." He explained. You thought for a bit on that & finally asked "What animal is your sister now?" Nibbles looked at you & answered "I won't tell you. I promised her I won't tell anyone." Pushing you told him "I won't tell anyone. I swear." The anthro squirrel stood up, tossed the controller down & hopped off the footstool & said very angry "I swore I would never tell anyone. That was my payment for her allowing me to become an anthromorphic red squirrel." Seeing how angry that made him & how serious he was about keeping the promise he made you decided to drop it. He after a bit hopped back up on the footstool, sat back down, grabbed the controller & began playing again. That was the most he ever spoke to you. He prefers to speak in squirrel sounds after all.
