Ann had just arrived with her team at the corner of Arleta Avenue and San Bruno Avenue. a driver had missed a pedestrian who ran the green light. the cops arrested him a minute later. turns out he had mugged a couple a few blocks away. the driver had connected with the lamp post.
the fire chief was putting the flames out on the car. she grabbed the jaws of life and opened the victim's door. they had just extracted him when the wave hit. The wave worked in mysterious ways. sometimes the change would be instant and sometimes it would take a while.
the mugger became a coffee mug. on it was a cartoon bandit being held down by a lion man. the bubble text said: crime doesn't pay. the police officer had changed instantly too. he now held the mug full of coffee in his paw.
