Asbern zoo was about 3 or four acres of land. there were 2 main buildings there. on was the reptile house. the other was the aviary. it was a large structure that housed the zoo's birds.
it was separated into 3 parts. first was the flightless birds mainly the penguins. the guest loved when they dove into their tank. next were the predatory birds. these two birds were the condor and bald eagles.
they were separated by the walkway and protective netting. the final was the dome. it was at the center of the area and had a glass dome overhead. the birds there were free to fly around with no net. guests were even allowed to carefully touch them.
however, due to the wave, there were only 7 people in the building. a security guard was watching over the dome. he saw 3 college kids taking pictures. the other areas were even more vacant. the penguins were currently being fed their food by a Korean woman. a boy and his girlfriend were looking at the birds of prey exhibit.
the wave hit around this time and no one in the building was immune. the question was who would change first?
