They spent the morning shopping for new clothes for “Roger”. “Liz” now understood why she had been told not to pack her suitcase. The new Roger was much slimmer than the old Roger.
They went to various shops and “Roger” tried on many different outfits. “Liz” got to veto some of the choices – in particular those that he thought made Roger look gay. In the end they were all happy with “Roger’s” new wardrobe. They had a week’s worth of outfits for whoever was “Roger” to choose from.
They returned the new clothes to the hotel and “Roger” changed into something that fit him better than the clothes he had started the day in. After lunch at a street-side café they caught a taxi to Sagrada Familia. It was awe inspiring. “Liz’s” dress selection must have been deemed appropriate. As no-one approached her.
“Liz” found herself totally relaxed as started to get familiar with her new body. At a tapas bar after leaving the cathedral they enjoyed a few drinks and “Liz” even enjoyed a bit of flirting with “Roger” under the impression that it was the real Liz inside that body. Other than having a period, being a woman was actually pretty fun. She found herself turned on by the way “Roger” kept looking at her cleavage.
Whilst visiting the ladies, to change pads, she felt a bit daring and found herself undoing several buttons on the bottom of her dress so she showed a bit of leg. She had always admired Liz’s legs and now gave “Roger” the opportunity to see how nice they looked through male eyes.
Eventually they caught a taxi back to the hotel and arrived in time to meet the tour director in the lobby.
As relaxed as she had been earlier, “Liz” suddenly found herself a bit self-conscious. Suddenly she was introduced to a lot of new people, the tour director Louis, 5 couples, 2 from Canada, another two from the US and an older couple from New Zealand. There were also two elderly sisters from Singapore and 3 singles. One of the singles was a youngish woman from Queensland, while the other two were retired men. The single woman introduced herself as Sonya and latched on to “Liz” as a fellow youngish female traveller.
Louis ran through the itinerary and mentioned that another couple were going to join the tour in several day’s time. He then invited everyone to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner.
“Liz” found herself a captive audience of Sonya’s as Sonya proved to be a talker. She had an opinion on everything and seemed to think that “Liz” should be interested in all her thoughts. When they arrived at the restaurant “Liz” excused herself to visit the ladies. That proved to be a mistake. When she returned she found the only seat available was between Sonya and Louis. She looked with envy at “Roger” and Maureen who seemed to be getting on well with the two Canadian couples at the other end of the table.
