A ghostly visit for the kitsune

added by O 6 months ago A O Anthro Ghost

Taking a deep breath as he approached Yurikos home, Fukushu was looking forward to his family after a long day.

This wasn't the first time the kitsune had ventured into the human business world. Throughout his centuries of life the kitsune had ventured into the human world, assuming a human identity and acquiring a vast fortune. From the Industrial Age to the economic boom periods of the late 20th century, Fukushu would assume human form, for the sole purpose of studying his enemies.

Humans had many weaknesses when compared to other races. Some supernatural races were stronger, some faster, more intelligent, bettter technology even more magically inclined. What humanity exceeded these other races in was their ability to evolve. Fukushu had seen it himself, humanity going from simple farmers to crafting vehicles that could traverse the solar system. With these advancements, Fukushu had been forced to evolve as well. Human weapons were constantly changing from swords to simple rifles to weapons capable of reducing an individual to atoms.

Although Fukushu was gaining information from the Normal, he found himself mostly doing this to infuriate the Boss. The kitsune now smiled as he thought of his work today, his nine tails swishing behind him. While he was able to gain incite into all of the Normals plans, what he enjoyed most was the look on the man's face as the kitsune made his presence known. If the fates were kind he hoped the Boss would die of a stress induced aneurysm.

Entering Yurikos kitchen, the kitsune paused as he noted the two Yakuza guards sitting at the table. This sight had become commonplace since Akiras injury, the guards giving Fukushu a stiff nod as their pulse rifles lay on the table before them. "Where is Abolith."

"Gone," Aiko replied.

Fukushu turned towards Aiko, noticing the five tailed vixen standing in the entrance. The guards bowed before their mistress as the vixen cast Fukushu a stern look. "What do you mean gone," Fukushu asked. "Where has she gone too?"

"She said she was having a girls night," Aiko replied. "Yuriko accompanied her. I suspect they will return by morning." Fukushu grumbled as he sized up the five tailed kitsune. Aiko, since her arrival, appeared dressed for battle. The vixens form fitting attire hugged her body as he tails expanded out behind her. Armed with her glaive and enchanted rifle, Fukushu could tell she was waiting for an encounter with Morgan. "The children are both upstairs with Ayami," Aiko continued. "Although your son did ask severally times when you were coming home."

Fukushu sighed, his shoulders slumping. Raiden wasn't used to this. For most of the kits life, Fukushu had been a constant presence. While kitsune was doing all of this for his benefit, it was difficult for the kit to understand. "Where is your brother," he asked, looking to change the subject.

"In the living room meditating," Aiko stated. Fukushu nodded, following the five tailed kitsune as she led the way. As the pair arrived, Fukushu glanced at his former apprentice. The kitsune appeared in good health, the wrappings around his eyes the only indication something was wrong. It broke Fukushu's heart seeing another kitsune like this. "How are you brother," Aiko asked softly.

"Fine," Akira smiled. "I was in the process of meditating when I heard your sullen footsteps."

"You could tell we were upset?"

"I may be blind sister but I have been a warrior far longer than you," he smirked. "The heaviness of your foot falls gave you away. Just because I can't see doesn't mean I'm dead."

"We are sorry Akira," Fukushu replied sadly. "We did not mean to insult you." Akira chuckled, despite his injuries he was trying to remain in high spirits. Carefully he now reached put, grasping his tea carefully. "I have had to make some adjustments," he stated. "Being mindful of where things are but, I need to remain positive. For Sachiko and Ayamis sake."

Both Fukushu and Aiko nodded, admiring the kitsunes strength to continue on. "So tell me Fukushu," he asked. "Where have you been spending you days?"

"It is of no concern," he replied quickly. "What I do with my time I do for the betterment of us all."

"Except it is affecting the very people you claim to be helping," Akira stated. "I have heard them. One of the odd things about being blind, your hearing seems to compensate for your lack of vision. Everyone always seem to forget I am in the other room."

"Apologies brother," Aiko said sadly. "I meant no disrespect." Akira simply chuckled, reaching out a hand as sister grasped it tightly. As the kitaune was about to say something, a brilliant light illuminated the room. As his vision cleared, Fukushu snarled as he beheld the ghostly figure before him. "Kelly Carlson."

"Guards," Aiko screamed, the five tailed vixen unshouldering her rifle as she leveled it at the ghost. Kelly now watched as humans sprinted into the room, pointing rifles at the ghost, while another kitsune now shielded Akira from harm. Fukushu now unsheathed his blade, pointing it towards the ghostly figure. "You dare show your face after what has happened!"

Kelly sighed, holding up her arms as she floated before the kitsunes. This was probably a bad idea but she needed to make this right. "I came to apologize," she said. "And to talk."

"Talk," Aiko exclaimed, the vixen seething. "Your daughter blinded my brother and now you want to talk!?"

"I know I'm asking alot," Kellie pleaded. "Aiko I am so sorry. I wanted to apologize for her actions. I've always respected you and Akira. She had no right to do what she did."

"And what of me ghost," Fukushu snarled.

Kellie frowned, she had always despised Fukushu. The kitsune had threatened her, her wife, and her daughter on numerous occasions. Still, for Morgan's sake she needed to try. "Lets bury the hatchet Fukushu," she said. "Its time we came to an understanding."
