"So, what do you think of Moon Lake so far, Rachel?" Angela asked.
"Well, umm... everyone seems to be pretty nice so far," Rachel said as she took another bite of her food. "I admit that it's all very overwhelming. I'm still kind of getting used to the fact that weres exist, let alone that a town like this exists. It's not too bad, I've made some friends, had some... strange encounters."
"I can imagine," Isabelle said. "I think most of us are just used to it by this point."
"Yeah, I guess I get that," Rachel said as her tail flicked a little. "It's such a weird feeling to be a cat, I don't know if I'm ever going to get used to that honestly. But I guess it's also kind of nice, my life has certainly taken a weird turn. I guess all I can do at this point is try and get used to it."
"Well, we're all here for you if you need it, or any were in town is," Angela said with a nod.
"So, what did your family think?" Julia asked. "I can imagine it was a shock."
"It was, and my Dad... well he didn't take it very well among other things," Rachel said sadly, looking down at Jessica. She didn't want to say everything in front of her, but she could give some details at least. "My mom and my sisters though, they didn't care. They came here with me and love me no matter what. They've become sort of like my own pride, helping keep me sane. I love them, and they love me no matter what."
"Well, it sounds like you have a lovely family," Sarah said with a smile.
"Yeah, they are wonderful," Rachel said as she continued eating.
