Much to Kate's relief, the butterflies fully seemed to understand her and they formed into a shape. A smiley shape, which Kate understood as a 'yes'. Well, it was at least one good news. The first one in a long time. These butterflies could actually help her. And she needed help indeed. She was literally new to the world. Or rather, new to this world in particular. A world of fantasy, mythological creatures and apparently sentient lepidoptera. What was next? Frog princes? Gnomes living in toadstools? Talking donkeys? Elves making toys merrily? And she was a female unicorn here! What were unicorns even supposed to do exactly? And she was female! With labia, a vulva, a womb and an entire reproductive system! Would she have to suffer horse penis to enter her, unicorn as it might be? Get pregnant? Nurse a foal? Ugh! How revolting! The mere idea of urinating and defecating, which would have to be dealt with eventually, whether she liked it or not, was already too disgusting to fathom or dwell upon. But these colorful insects might help her.

The butterflies immediately formed themselves into a smiley face and then formed an arrow, which moved and disintegrated as Kate started to follow. The butterflies became a mass or alternately a line which went around tree trunks deeper into the forest. Kate was a bit scarred, of course, but hope was there again and forced her on. She might get out of the very tricky and disturbing situation she was in. She might return to her old life. She missed everything about it already and was desperate to go back to it, at all costs. So perhaps things would return to normal and solve themselves.
