You decided to go for the green section of this zoo. It stood for the mutant section. Animals that had mutated and looked partly human. Sounded freaky yet disturbingly interesting. So you make your way there. Besides, it for eighteen-years-old at least only so as a teenager of nineteen, you were happy to do something "adult" and almost forbidden. And your roommate who did not want to come! Ha! The sky is blue, you had money in your pocket, you were on vacation and you were going to have a nice day as an adult. This is going to be a very nice day for sure indeed!
You soon understood why this section was for adult visitors only. There were human-like large lemurs that looked sad in their cages, one female clutching her cub and younger babe to her chest and belly more tightly, as if she wanted to spare them the shame of being seen. There was a girl with lizard features sunbathing and casting you an arrogant stare through her yellow eyes and slit pupils. A bunch of kids looking like puppies kept playing with balls and toys. At least these one were happy. And in fact, quite a few did seem so. On man with boar tusks and ears was digging into mounds of fast-food with happy grunts, oblivious to everything apart from his own belly. Some ape-looking youngsters were happy to play in a pool of plastic balls, laughing uproariously. one juggling with a few so that visitors could buy him treats from a vending machine next to the enclosure. One fox mutant chased his own tail and gnawed on bones. Marine mutants all lounged and dove in a humongous pool, having the time of their lives, delighting in the seafood that an employee threw at them. The manatee mutants munched on salads, though. The felines were almost all feline and stared at you slightly curiously, mostly concerned more with their grooming. Amazed at these sights, you decided to have a drink at a bar, unaware that you were being watched by one of the employees.
