You grimaced as you looked in the mirror that night. You had a cavity. Luckily, it was in the back, so it was much harder to see. Still, nothing you can really do about it right now though. You opened that toothpaste you picked out. "Flower Eater". Odd name.
Whatever. It's toothpaste. It does the same thing no matter what the stupid label calls it. It smells like grass. Jeez, you hope this doesn't have a lot of chemicals in it. With limited options, however, since you only bought the one, you squeeze out a little onto your toothbrush and hesitantly start brushing.
Thoughts fill your mind as you do so, thinking back to earlier today. Right as you walked out of the shop, some doofy-looking poindexter came up to you and asked you out on a date. The nerve! As if he was even close to your level! You had grabbed his handwritten letter and crumbled it, laughing in his face. That felt good.
You smile, as your face pushes out into a muzzle, which you somehow don't notice. Beautiful people like you had no time for rejects like that! But then another memory came. Your friend, Stacy. Or, ex-friend, rather. How she stole the boy you had your eyes on. This filled you with rage. You balled up your hands into fists, trying to hold back from punching something. As you did so, your fingers melded together, your hands forming into dark brown hooves.
You were too annoyed to care, and dropped your toothbrush on the floor.
"Damn it," you cursed, and bent down to try and grab it. While you did so, your skeletal structure adjusted, your bones and muscles shifting and moving, as you became quadrupedal. While your hands had turned to hooves, in your rear, your feet had done the same.
Still, for some odd reason, you thought nothing wrong, other than why you were bending down. The toothbrush was long gone and you looked back at the mirror, your now-equine ears twitching in agitation.
What were you thinking about? Oh, right, your beauty.
"I am beautiful, aren't I? That white coat of mine...where...oh there it is," You smile as you watch your coat grow back in. Whoever shaved you, is going to pay. Glancing back at the mirror, you see your luxurious golden mane, cascading down the back of your head, filled with sparkles. From your rear, a matching tail sprouts, as your clothes really start to rip.
You begin to grow taller and larger, your fashionable apparel stretching until it tears apart and falls off of you. But you don't need clothing anyways. That's a human thing.
Weren't you human?
No...you're...
"Hm...what am I again?" You ask, closing your eyes as a bony protrusion comes out of your head.
You open your eyes again and tap it with your hoof.
"Ah... right. I'm a unicorn. How could I forget that," You reassure yourself. Yes, that's what you are. You're the most beautiful and elusive creature to be found, if you let yourself be found. Everyone else was below you, beneath you, your beauty unmatched.
Still... this world could use some more beauty, even if it is subpar compared to yours.
You exited the cramped human bathroom and ventured out to see who you could beautify.
