It's no secret that some places can have pretty unusual holidays, and for particularly unusual reasons. The best example of this is the various National (Food) Day celebrations. Case in point, in some places, March 28th was National Black Forest Cake Day, especially since carob-based chocolate was still in its infancy, so to speak. In other places, especially college campuses, March 29th was National BBQ Day, though this was mainly to advertise themed menus at the cafeteria. However, everyone does holidays and celebrations differently, and Animalia was no different.

Because Lyre/Animalia had the first really nice day in terms of weather, WSA decided to have an outdoor lunch. While some would have raised their eyebrows at this, it wasn't too much of a problem for anyone. While Dino City didn't really have a "class" yet, they also got in on the act with an outdoor luncheon. The only people who were upset about this were the hardcore vegans who basically made a nuisance about the meat-eating dinosaurs, but basically didn't know any better. Fortunately, Dino City's police were there to keep things from getting too out of hand, and sometimes this resulted in a few funny memes about "veganism vs. real life".

As a kind of "joke holiday", the Meat Market was having a "National Beefcake Day" which focused mainly on male Animalians. While there were a few homosexual guys there, it was no secret that the majority of patrons were female, whether human or Animalian. Occasionally, there were those who were able to use the celebrations for one reason or another.
The best case of this was Ruby using the special event to introduce her grandchildren, including her demanding grandson, to her new husband, then revealing the new terms of her will. The end result ended up garnering all kinds of comments on the website, all of which declared it to be hilarious, ranging from "24K Gold" to "Beyond Priceless".

Occasionally, things that appeared on the website caused drama of its own. One such case was something that was posted by Lexia, David, and Louise. During their time at Mieni Atoll, they got to meet some of the "beach bimbos/himbos" that have prompted the purchase/donation (depending on the source that reported it) of the SS Joyous Bounty, especially since some of them had already undergone conversion. While Lexia did do some good, respectful questions for her coverage, David and Louise got into a nude beach volleyball match on Anka Islet. While they did record it, it was set up in the Premium section of the website, causing all kinds of "no fair" comments from people who were clearly not of age to view such things.
A different kind of thing was happening on the Animalia Website message boards. What it was all about was Tik-Tok's, rather amusing, claim of having eaten an alarm clock, and why he wasn't willing to go into detail about it. What was probably the biggest part of it was also the simplest explanation:
Sm@rT_GuY: It has to be the old saying: what goes in must come out.
