You ponder a bit at what you should do and the minotaur's words. The "Fairies' Field" sounds nice. He did say that fairies are the friends of nymphs and indeed it does make sense. You are apprehensive but make your way to that place. You'll see when you get there, and anyway if they are friends of nymphs, they might provide a much needed help. You wouldn't say no to that. And fairies are nice, right?
As you reach the fields, indicated by a sign, you cannot help but stop in your tracks and gasp.
It is very beautiful;. There are a few small woods but most of it are fields covered in flowers and smelling of wonderful nature. Lavender, grass, poppies, bluebells, daisies, honeysuckle, dandelions, roses and a myriad of others. It smells like a beautiful hot summer. There are even fireflies darting about and glow-worms hiding in the grass. It makes you want to roll in the hay and grass and laugh out loud. But you have to reach the woods. There are lights and sounds of laughter. It's the evening but they are there for sure. You make your way there and see through the trees tiny female figures with colorful wings and tiny clothes made of cloth or natural elements, sharing soup, nectar, ambrosia, fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese and other vegetarian meals, singing and laughing merrily. And it looks good. You don't even wonder how you can distinguish the smells of flowers now or what all the meals consist of. Your new instincts are kicking in, even though you are as yet unaware of it. You're too engrossed in what you are seeing. You advance into the clearing of trees and the fairies notice you. You barely have the time to say you need help that they offer you honey, nectar, ambrosia, cooked vegetables and an omelette, telling you to rest and reassuring you that you are safe here. You figure you can eat and drink first before explaining to them the object of your coming and your worries. You thank them in gratitude and starts eating profusely, enjoying the company and the setting.
