"So, why a Sorority?" Rachel asked.
"Hmm?"
"I mean, it sounds like you know a lot about them, but... I dunno," Rachel said, looking a bit sheepish. "I never really saw myself as being much of a Greek, you know? I don't know about them as a choice."
"Yeah, I get that," Cynthia agreed. "But they're not always about partying or anything like that. They're more about helping each other, like a sisterhood of sorts, you know? A lot of young werecats are still getting used to their changes like you are. So giving them a place to come together and work with werecats closer to their own age. There are a lot of groups like them on campus for Weres, it does a lot of good for students who need help."
"That... does make sense," Rachel admitted as she shrugged a bit. "I guess I'll need to think about it more."
"Well, I'd say you should meet them first at least," Cynthia chuckled.
"I, guess it wouldn't hurt," Rachel said. "But what if I don't find a pride that's right for me?"
"Well, if you found the right partner... you could start your own, but I think you'd be better finding one that fits you," Cynthia said, gently taking Rachel's hand. "Whatever works for you."
Rachel gave her a smile and a nod. "Thank you."
"Of course, we'll work something out," Cynthia said as the two of them neared campus.
