“Damn it!”
Everyone was startled at Bill’s sudden outburst, and Gene even almost drove right off the road due to his surprise.
“What the hell Bill?!” Gene shouted.
“Why can’t this stupid stone work right?! Why does it have to screw up my entire life?! First I lost my little sister and my parents, now my best friend and his ex are my parents and my parents are my friends! And I’m the only one who realizes anything’s wrong!"
"What in the world are you talking about, Bill!? Can't you, for once, just act like a normal boy? Bad enough this trip has already busted my damn wallet, now you have to go and be weird like your sister!" Gene roared back as he twisted around in the driver seat of the car, his masculine face that had hints of Gloria still in it red with anger, a thick vein bulging from his forehead.
"GENE WATCH THE ROAD!" Tammy screamed in fear as the station wagon quickly began to drift into the other lane, prompting Gene to spin back around and violently jerk the steering wheel as the crowded car veered back onto it's side of the road. The car behind them honked angrily in protest.
"Mind your own damn business, prick!" Gene said, rolling down the window and sticking a hairy arm outwards, middle finger raised as he focused on the road once more. In the seat next to him, Tammy gave him 'the look' that usually meant he was in the doghouse as she stepped up to her son's defense.
"Gene if you can't control your temper then maybe you should just take a taxi home from the airport" Tammy said with as much of a growl as she could manage, "If you can't be civil then maybe you just shouldn't go". The threat earned her a intense glare from her husband, which she met until he finally yielded, turning back to the road with a noise that landed somewhere between a groan and a swear.
With Gene mom'd into submission, Tammy turned in her seat to look back at Bill, who was pale as a ghost and staring at the four of them in disbelief.
"Bill, sweetie, what are you talking about?" Tammy said slowly, while Martha and Greg simply stared at their friend in shock and disbelief. From the driver's seat in front of him, Bill could see the dark, angry eyes of his 'father' staring at him from the rearview mirror.
As four pairs of eyes settled on him, Bill clenched the still broken Ahn'Ger Stone tight and whispered "I wish you all remembered who you really are!” What are the effects of this new wish?
Option 1: The damaged Stone makes the wish go awry once more, as Gene and Tammy now remember being Martha and Greg...While Martha and Greg remember being Gloria and Tammy! Meanwhile, Bill suddenly starts having flashes of memories...Memories of being...his sister!?
Option 2: Gene and Tammy remember everything from all the previous realities they'd experienced that morning, while Greg and Martha remember being Bill’s parents. However, due to the Stone's damaged state, the memories are quickly shaken off and mostly forgotten save for a feeling of unease among the group.
