Sylvia and Tanya scowled, finally they would have their vengeance against the man who had taken their lives. Tanya now began to shift in form, batlike wings sprouting from her back, a small set of horns forming as her skin took on a crimson hue. Both witches now went about casting a spell, useing the very earth to bind Kane. "Tonight Ezekiel Kane we exact justice!"
Nat now watched as Kane howled in pain, the ghostly witches useing their powers to drain the life from the hunter. As they did that Connor, Spark, and Miles now rushed forward. The trio of teens raining down blow after blow on the hunter. It seemed unbelievable, they were winning. Kane was on the defensive, yet something felt off. It couldn't be this easy.
Nats fears began to come to fruition, as a soft chuckle now escaped the experienced hunters lips. Kane had a back up plan. Spark, Connor, and Miles were now pushed back by an invisible force as the psychopathic hunter leered at them. "Very cute kids," he sneered. "But it's gonna take more than that to stop me."
Kane now glanced at Sylvia and Tanya, the ghostly witches spell still in effect. Nat wasn't sure what Kane had in mind until he saw Sylvia and Tanya howl in pain. The two convulsed, their bodies collapsing to the ground. Nat now gasped as two ghostly figures now floated above the unconscious bodies. "How," Sylvia asked.
"Simple really," Kane grinned. "Gotta few tricks up my sleeve to exorcise ghosts from their bodies. All I needed to do was bide my time before the rune took effect." Kane now stood, a holy symbol clutched in his hand as he glared at Sylvia and Tanya. "Now it's time to send you two bitches back where you came from." Sylvia and Tanya gasped, realizing Kane intended to destroy the pair of ghosts before Lancelot lept at him.
"Dishonorable bastard," Lancelot bellowed as he now attacked. Kane grunted trying to fend off the attack of the vampire as Nat and her friends looked to regroup. Kane simply smirked, blocking the vampires attack before pressing the holy symbol against his face. "By the way night stalker," Kane grunted. "Had a gut feeling about the garlic but let's see how ya handle this!" Kane now smashed a vial of water on the vampire, Lancelot screaming in pain as the smell of burning flesh burned Nats nose.
"Holy water. Never fails."
"Connor," Nat exclaimed. The young hunter nodded, he and Spark springing into action as they began to attack Kane once more. "Ya know kid," Kane grunted. "I ain't too proud to admit ya got potential." Connor snarled, unleashing a furious set of blows, which Kane deflected. "But ya still got alot to learn."
Connor now tried to finish off the older hunter, looking to knock him out. Instead Kane dodged, reaching into his belt before throwing a substance on Connors face. Inspite of his armor, Connor now found his head enveloped in a thick gel, restricting his breathing. Connor now began to tug on the gel, trying to breath as Spark paused in her attacks. "Connor!"
Spark howled with rage, the punky looking teen lunging at Kane as she looked to knock him out. As she rushed towards him, Kane threw something at her. Spark gasped, quickly shrinking down into fairy form before being encased inside a crystal ball that Kane now punted across the yard.
Nat and the others now gasped, fearfully gazing out at their friends. After some initial success, Kane had turned the tide. "Ya got spirit kids I'll give ya that," he smirked. "But I was fighting demons and wizards when ya'll were still sitting in your daddy's nut sack! You wanna take me down you're going hafta earn it!"
Nat and her friends, frowned, preparing to continue the fight. Kane was far from finished and unless they wanted to end up as another of his victims, they needed to come up with a plan.
