"Flames of Love. Burn!!!"
Kane grunted, falling backwards as a rather large fireball struck him in the chest. As he tried to gather his bearings, he now glanced at his attackers.
Miranda stood tall, dressed in her majokko outfit with Amara by her side. The Hispanic teens magical rapier smoking as she prepared another attack. Nat could see that the mara was keeping her distance, realizing rhe experienced hunter probably had a contingency plan for dealing with the demon. Thankfully, though, it appeared Kane wasn't as experienced in dealing with magical girls.
As Kane groaned, unsteadily getting to his feet, he failed to notice Miles charge. Miranda's twin now striking the hunter in the head with a guitar. "Oww damn it," Kane groaned, rubbing the sore spot on his head. "Did you just hit me with a guitar?"
Miles scowled, looking to strike Kane once more, only for the hunter to kick the teen away. Nat watched as Miles tumbled backwards, the teen dazed ss he now lay next to Sylvia and Tanya's ghosts. They needed to counter attack and quickly before Kane could gain the upper hand. "Rei," Nat called. "Help Miranda while I check on Connor and Spark." Rei simply nodded, the girl now quickly thumbing through her spell book before casting a binding spell. Kane howled, struggling against the mystical chains that now held him in place. For the moment, Nat had the opportunity to regroup.
Sprinting towards Spark and Connor, the dhamphir teen was surprised by what she saw. In the chaos, Nat had lost track of the Harris children. At first thinking they were hiding she was surprised to see them now trying to help Spark and Connor.. Kari and Haley now desperately tried to free the fairy from her glass prison as Aaron tore at the substance on Connors face. Shocked, Nat watched as Aaron pulled the last of the substance away, Connor gasping for breath as he removed his helmet. The teens face was flustered, his breathing ragged as he now stared at the small anthro boy before him. "Thanks kid."
Aaron offered a small smile in return, the kintaro boys tail wagging like a puppy. Seeing the kit and kintaro child now trying to free Spark, Connor quickly ran to her, reaching into his belt. "Stand back," he stated as he now brought a small gem down, shattering the crystal prison and freeing Spark. The fairy now soared into the air, stretching before placing a kiss on her boyfriends lips. "You saved me," she exclaimed, her tiny green body now covering Connors face.
"You can thank them later Spark," Nat exclaimed. "We still have problems." Spark and Connor now focused, noting Kane struggling to free himself. Despite being unfamiliar with Miranda's magic, it appeared the hunter was beginning to adapt. Already they could see he had broken the binds Rei had cast and was slowly moving towards Miranda. As Amara looked to attack, the teens gasped in fright.
The mara had tried to use her powers to trap Kane in a nightmare and feed on his energy. Instead, the hunter appeared to have turned her powers back on her. Amara screamed, collapsing before her girlfriend as she shuddered in fear. This gave Kane an opening as Miranda tried to help her girlfriend.
"Nat," Connor exclaimed. "We're running out of time. We gotta take him out now!" Nat nodded, taking a breath as she stared at the fearsome hunter. To take Kane down, she would have to fully embrace her nature.
Nat's eyes began to glow, her muscles swelling, as her face became feral in appearance. A low growl emanated from the young dhamphir as she now bore her fangs. Looking to Connor, she nodded as the pair lept into battle.
Kane was growing irritated by these kids. This girl dressed like a cosplayer and her demon girlfriend were proving to be a nuisance. Dodging Miranda's latest attack, the hunter delivered a vicious right hook, sending the teenage girl sprawling. Finally able to take a breath, he looked to finish off the others as Connor and Nat now attacked.
Grunting in pain, he stumbled backwards. The teenage hunter and his dhamphir friend packed quite a punch. Trying to clear his head, his eyes went wide as he stared at Nats vampiric face. A sinister smirk now forming on his weathered visage as he looked to plunge a stake through the teens heart. What happened next surprised to experienced hunter.
Where a teenage girl had stood only moments before, now turned to mist. Somehow this inexperienced teenage girl had managed to make herself corporeal. Kane had only seen the most elite of vampires transform their physical bodies into a gaseous state, yet somehow this girl had accomplished this feat. Stunned by this, he was ill prepared as Connor now delivered a thunderous roundhouse kick to his jaw. A kick that turned the hunter around. Dazed and barely conscious, Kane now watched as the dhamphir teens body solidified once more, her eyes gleaming with an unnatural light as she delivered an uppercut that sent the hunter airborne. The last thing Kane would see before losing consciousness was a teenage hunter and his dhamphir friend looming over him.
Nat and Connor now gazed down at Ezekiel Kane, watching as he slipped into unconsciousness. Stunned the teens now gazed at their friends. "Holy shit," Nat whispered. "I...I think we just won!"
