Your mind swirl with all the possibilities. You can ask for whatever you want! And you have three wishes! How cool is that!?!? Your life is about to get very sweet indeed.
"Let me think for a minute..." you mumble at the genie.
"Yes, of course. Take your time. No rush. It's important for you to think of," smiles the genie.
Once you feel you can sort out your thoughts, you come to realize what you would like to wish for. You love video games but don't have a dream life either. Your life is rather boring, between high school, thinking about homework, the homework that has to be done, trying to understand girls and hoping hopelessly to get higher on the popularity ladder. But the world of video games is much, much more exciting. And right now, your favourite game is "Vampire Hunter: Blood-suckers' Nightmare". In this game you are a hot vampire hunter, killing vampire right, left and center, winning gold, with cool weaponry, mysterious castles and forests to explore and hotties in taverns waiting to jump at the chick magnet that you are. So your wish is made.
"I want to live in the world of 'Vampire Hunter: Blood-suckers' Nightmare'! I want to be the super handsome and. popular vampire hunter!"
"Are you sure?" says the genie, a bit puzzled and surprised.
"Yes! That's my first wish!"
"All right, then," says the genie, snapping his fingers.
Your world goes dark as you get transported into another.
You fall into the snow, amidst a flurry of snowflakes and cold winds. You open your eyes. The sun setting fast below the horizon. You are in a thick forest of pines in the middle of winter. You have a coat and a bag full of weapons and deadly paraphernalia. The same as in your video game. You touch your face. A stubble. Longer hair. You have no mirror but you know you are now the hero of the game, the famous vampire hunter. Sweet! You're now brave, skilled and handsome. You're feared by all creatures of the night and hailed as a savior everywhere you go! You wonder where the genie is but you spot then the massive castle just on the horizon. Cool! Time to kill evil bats and vampires! You make you way towards it. The snow impedes you but it's fine. You have muscles and an athletic body now. It's hard but not as exhausting as it would have been before. As you near the castle and the last rays of the sun grace the land, you do feel exhausted, tired and you start panting heavily. Seems like you've overtaxed your body. You should have been a better judge of your new abilities. But never mind that. You'll stop for a bit and sit upon a fallen tree, your heavy breathing reverberating in the atmosphere. You are so close to the castle, it does not matter. The vampire will have earned only a tiny reprieve of a few minutes.
Then you hear crunching sounds of steps on the snow. You turn around but it's too late. An ugly hunchbacked man slams a club at your head, knocking you out clean. You sprawl on the ground. If you hadn't panted so heavily, you would have heard him. You would have known that getting near vampires at night, or to their lair, was pure madness. You would have looked to thew village lights, visible, and come back later. You would have known how to walk stealthily and save up on your strength. You would have been much more wary. But being in the body of a hero did make you get his training and now the hunchbacked man, servant to the vampires, carries you and drags you to the castle. You wake up in a the dungeons, tied to a table and as you scream your anger, the door opens with a long creaking noise, revealing the vampire leader, a Dracula figure, staring down at you, with the hunchback right behind him.
