A minute after Jeff’s transformations has ended, a young man, who looks as if he were in his 20s, comes around the corner and starts to walk towards Jeff’s house. As the man gets closer, he spots the car parked in the street, when the man spots the car, he grins, “now… THAT is exactly the car I’ve been looking for,” he says, walking up to the Chevrolet, “who knew, that I’d find a Chevrolet Malibu in an area where normal paid people live”.
The man, who’s name is Ricardo Sanchez, peers through the passenger’s window and his eyes widen, he then chuckles, “some idiot left the keys in the ignition,” he says and walks over to the driver’s side. He then opens the door and gets into the car, closing the door, Ricardo, or “Rick” as he is called by friends, inhales and grins, “this car smells new. Someone must have just bought it, welp, their loss is my gain,” he says to himself, “before I take this baby, there are a few things I have to check first”.
Rick turns the keys, but does not start the engine, he only turns on the power to be able to access the on-board computer. Jeff awakens halfway, he notices something weird, but he feels so groggy, that he is unable to put his finger… tire on it. Rick opens the car’s information and reads through it, “not bad,” he says, “it is the newest model. Hm… why is there a Chronivac on the computer? I’d better get rid of it, someone might use it to track the car, and I do not want that to happen”. With a few skilled typing on the touchscreen, Rick soon has deleted the Chronivac, and with it, Jeff’s only way to access it, and with the link cut he is also unable to transform back. Rick is unaware that the car is actually a human teenager, for the carjacker, the car is a simple car.
After checking everything, Rick decides to high tail it out of there, so he turns the keys and the engine roars to life, this causes Jeff to jolt awake, and before he knows it, he feels himself being driven down the street at a high speed.
