The Magic Shop

The calm before storm

added by Anonymous 4 months ago O

July started march in front of the Jack like a drill sergeant. She was going to use the ring's power on something far more better target, but wouldn't tell her brother what she was planning.

"Jack, we just witnessed how mom and Lucy swapped ages." July began her speech. "With this ring we could both skip school and become adults. No more being grounded. No more homework. And best of all, we can do whatever we wish for."

July inserted the ring in her index finger and jumped to the nearest bush to search for her target. Jack waddled behind her while keeping a five feet distance.

"Okay, first I need to find a grown up that can drive the car..." July pondered out loud in the bush. "Sadly everybody in this neighbourhood knows us so trading their ages would just know we did it."

"How about an animal?" Jack said. "Like a dog?"

"Ha ha, I would turn myself into five or eight years old." July laughed. Then like a lightining stricking from the clouds she had an idea.

"There's a tortoise in the petting zoo who had it's 40th birthday." July smiled. "I think no-one's going to notice if a small tortoise is 40 or 10 years old. And it's closing it's doors in two hours so if we take the bikes we could go there, tap them and get back here before anybody notices."

Jack was excited by this and run to the bikeshed to take his bicycle with July.

As they left the frontyard. Lucy and her mother Amy were trying to find fitting clothing for Lucy.

"Mom, I think my breasts are bigger than any bra you can give to me." Lucy said and removed the bra. "Can't I just go topless?"

"Honey, people are going to see your nipples and I know that there are some perverted old men who can see those things..." Amy sighed.

"But mom... all the clothes you have given me are super tight and I can't breath in that thing." Lucy said while holding on the two sizes smaller bra.

"Well your clothes are not as fitting for me young lady. These are very revealing and back in my day..." Amy nagged back at her daughter.

Lucy forcefully put the tight bra back into her chest, but didn't close the clips leaving it hanging freely.

"Ok. Listen. I'm going to call a babysitter for July and Jack while we go visit an old friend mine. She should know how we can reverse this. She doesn't leave her home and she is 'intentionally' old fashioned when it comes to contacting, so..." Amy explained while picking up a phone. "Once we get there. You can take my bra off. She's a ... well ... knowledgeable person, I think."

Lucy sat on the side of her mother's bed while her mother went to the living room to call up for a babysitter. After a while Amy came back to room saying that anybody she knew wasn't picking up and wondered where Jack and July went to.

"Also the ring is missing." Amy said while putting her hand in front of her mouth. "They musn't have..."

"Lucy, change of plans. You go and start searching for Jack and July, while I go meet my old friend alone, okay?" Amy said sternly.

Lucy was going to give her mother the 'do-I-have-to"-face, but quickly sighed and walked outside to look where they had gone to.

At the same time Amy hopped into her car and started to head towards her friend which lived accross the other side of the town.
