Amy was stressing out as she knew the things could turn out pretty bad very fast if Jack or July was using the ring. She didn't know what kind of powers the ring had. Maybe this was the best kind of scenario they had. This ruminating left Amy ignoring the speeding limit as she was approching the middle of the town and police took note of it.
As Amy pulled the car. A thought hit her. How in the hell she is going to explain that she is actually a 40-year-old mother of three with this youtful body driving an old car.
The policeman came knocking on window and asked for the reason for driving fast. Amy tried to explain the reasoning, but in the end she had to give out her driver's license and id. Immediatly feeling the policeman's gaze as she compared the picture taken and the person sitting.
"Umm, miss, the date here is pretty old. How come? You don't strike as an older lady type" The policeman asked.
Amy was confused by question and asked what he meant by that.
"You see, Miss Amy, I'm sure there's a reason for someone like you to drive with a fake license, but you know what. It says here you got your two decades ago." The policeman grilled Amy.
"Umm... Officer, would you believe if I said that my plastic doctor's a hella magic maker?" Amy chuckled nervously.
"A-ha." The policeman responded and walked to his car.
Amy was feeling a little bit anxious as she begun to feel something weird. The policeman's words echoed inside her head as she wasn't sure anymore if she got the license two years ago or two decades ago. She was sure that the lady gave her perfect score when she was 18-years-old and drove the car like a champ.
After a minute the policeman came back and gave her only a small ticket.
"How about the license?" Amy asked.
"What about it?" He responded.
"Was it fake or not?" She asked.
"All's good, just carry on and try to be a little careful in the future, okay?" The policeman said and nodded his hat.
Amy immediatly looked at the driver's license and noticed something weird in it. The date had changed. It was displaying the date which was two years ago. She could only gasp air as she had to reach her friend's apartment before something more serious would happen.
