Lucy had no luck finding Jack and July anywhere. Only clue being the opened shed door which she closed. Behind her an older lady in same age as Lucy was currently came poking her nose.
"Hi there, have we met?" The neighbour greeted.
"Hi, name's ... Nancy, my sister Amy invited me to babysit-" Lucy explained before she was cut short.
"Oh, uhm, Nancy, right right. You look more like Lucy than Amy." The woman kept pondering. "So how's Lucy then?"
"You mean Amy, right?" Lucy responded.
"No, no, the single mother I know who lives in this house. Lucy Anders. Looks pretty much like you." The woman kept going.
Lucy felt a little bit annoyed why she kept insisting that she was the one owning this house. Or was she. It was her daughter... mother! It was her mother who owned the house... but then again, she was only 22-years-old while Lucy was 44-years-old. She started to get confused and excused herself as she rushed to the inside of the house.
"What's happening. I feel so weird all of a sudden. Why does my mot- daugh-!" Lucy kept saying in front of the closed front door. "Why I am calling her my daughter. Like she's clearly my, mo- daughter Amy. FUCK!"
Suddenly a warm feeling stopped her thought as the bra from earlier was suddenly right size for her and her stomach had begun to form weird squigly lines. Her red blouse and jeans were much more looser than they were moment ago. Making it so that they were right size. Then without thinking she ran to the bathroom to check something.
She had glasses on. Like her mother had. She couldn't clearly see without them and everything was getting blurrier as she tried removing them.
"This can't be. I am becoming like her." Lucy said outloud and felt a odd sting in her navel which made her fall down.
"What the heck was that..." Lucy muttered as she noticed her belly becoming more pudgier.
"What, how, why?" Lucy kept murmurring to herself as it was becoming clear to her that she didn't only acquire her mother's age but her life as whole. She could clearly remember giving birth to Amy and talking with her husband about their future, but at the same time the memories showed Lucy with Amy much older looking out for her.
Then quickly as it came. The visual image of her Amy's and Lucy's parental positions had changed where Lucy was the one looking over young Amy at the park. It was like the memories she had in her life was changing to reflect her current age.
"How about Jack and July. They are my siblings, right?" Lucy said out loud without any hesitation.
She let out a sigh of relief as to her they were still her brother and sister.
