The fight for the possession of the dice was getting intense and it wouldn't be long before it attracted attention, but Nicole was the only one to notice as the pair fought for control of the tiny object.
"Fifty years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but forty one. Each roll shall return more of what you have lost."
Alice gasped as she heard the sound of the mystical voice. The orbs of light began to appear around the stunned Alice.
Crossing the 40s, the middle-aged woman felt her body change, her posture improved once again and her breasts firmed up. Her hair appeared more alive and free and her face much less wrinkled. As she approached her early 40's she felt the weight still held in her thighs and belly melt away, making her sweater and pants looser at the hips.
Nicole was amazed when she saw all the elements that reminded her of old Alice disappear. Sharon, though usually stoic, was amazed to see the effects with her own eyes. The two women now had in front of them a mature woman with a vivacious look.
"Oh my goodness Alice you look so...alive!" said Nicole happy to see her friend in such good health.
Alice nodded as she ran her hands over her clothes, "thanks I guess..I really didn't think I could be any more fit than this, I wonder how I'd feel if I were in my 20s again..."
"Alice?" the business lady asked as she got up, "I knew something was wrong with you, so you used the dice all to yourself huh."
Nicole and Alice gave her a glare, "because you might have shared it? I know you would have kept it to yourself and tried to make the best of it." Alice said.
"And she wanted to offer it to me and I just refused!" threw Nicole.
Sharon giggled, "wow that's some friendly spirit, but I really don't have time for this you know." She pointed to the dice in her hand, "correction I have all the time in the world now."
The gorgeous executive pulled back her shiny hair and thought for a moment, her business acumen in action. "Well ok here is my proposal, for having so kindly made me discover this real fountain of youth I suggest that each of us keeps one of the dice, in addition to that I could leave you alone concerning the purchase of the bookstore, so what do you say girls? The woman proposed full of condifence, a smile spreading accross her face.
Nicole was startled by this proposal and glanced at her now younger friend. Alice obviously wasn't going to turn down such an offer, was she?
Alice sighed, "We'll discuss this proposal, I think there's something dangerous about this dices, but before we would like to be somewhere more comfortable I feel like all eyes are on us"
"No problem dear" smiled Sharon.
