"What the fuck!" Yelled Max, as he heard a loud crash in his room. He turned on the lights to see glass all over his floor.
"God damnit..." he muttered as he began to pick the pieces out of his carpet.
Max was an 18 year old high school student. He was fairly average, definitely not ugly, but had been pretty depressed and introverted since his father’s untimely death a few months ago. The lack of income resulted in his mother moving him, her, and his twin sisters in with his Aunt and her four daughters. His sisters and cousins were all older than him and were in college, but the campus was close enough for them to all still live at home.
Being the new kid in a senior class made him an outcast, and once it was discovered he lived in the infamous Skye house things had shifted into bulling. This being the latest act of abuse by his classmates.
That is until he looked at what had been thrown through his window. Written on the box were the words, “Sometimes all you need is a new perspective". With love - Anonymous”
The "with love" confused him, but he opened the box anyway. Inside he found what looked to be a small type writer, but it had a screen instead of a paper dispenser. He took it out and set it on his desk.
The screen turned on suddenly and a pixilated image of his face appeared on the screen before displaying the message…
