Mike pulled his water out of his bag, and taking a swig, he noticed a new bottle he had never seen before come into view. His sensei must have packed it for him, he thought, picking up the sports-drink labeled in large white-letters "SES," with smaller subtext reading "Speed Endurance Strength." He turned it over in his hand to read its ingredients.
However, oddly enough, the bottle didn't list any of its contents. Rather, on its back, strange Chinese calligraphy seem to scrawl downward, flanking in the middle a bizzare drawing. What looked almost like a quite muscular half-man, half-horse stood posing, flexing above the few english words, "Guaranteed to increase your speed, endurance, and strength. To bring an inner beast out of you. WARNING: May also strongly enhance sex drive."
The bottle was decorated in green and black; beautiful, ebony horses drawn galloping across its emerald surface. Shrugging, Mike figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try, especially if his sensei had placed it in there. He could, afterall, afford to gain some speed, endurance, and strength -- he was tired of being skinny, tired of being easily exhausted, and a speed (although he was unquestionably faster than Cho) improvement could ever be an asset in martial arts.
Even if the sports-drink did only a small part of what it promised, it'd be worth trying. But, more than likely, the text on the drink was advertising hype. Unscrewing the cap, Mike opened the drink and took a test swig. The liquid in his mouth seemed warm, his tongue tingling as he swallowed, the mild plum flavor lasting momentarily as he felt the drink reach his stomach and spread its heat through his entire body.
"Wow." said Mike, clearly pleased at the experience, and taking another drink, he had soon finished the entire thing as he collected his things and prepared to return home from the tournament. Tossing the sport-drink's empty bottle into a nearby trashcan, he put his bag into his car's trunk, and got inside, starting the engine.
Mike's cellphone rang abruptly in his pocket. "Hey." he answered it.
And the female voice on the other side replied "Hi, Mikey. You have any plans for tonight?" It was Rachael, his girlfriend.
"No, just off on my way home to get a shower and change of clothes." he answered, "Want to grab some dinner and a show afterward?"
"Sure. I'd love to. And, you can tell me all about the details of today's tournament. I'm truly sorry I couldn't be there, my boss insisted that I work today." Rachael answered, her voice softening during her apology.
"That's OK." Mike said, too cheerful from actually winning the match to be that disappointed, "Anyway, I'll see you tonight. Come by in an hour and a half. I'll be ready by then.
"Will do. Love you." Rachael said, hanging up her phone.
Pulling out of the tournament's parking lot, Mike felt good. His body was warm and tingly, his labido was definitely on the up and up for Rachael tonight, and he was sure for some odd reason that things were going to change for the better.
What Mike didn't realize was that they already were. His ears had begun to elongate, to become somewhat pointed, fuzz growing on their edges. His chest hair had begun to fill in under his shirt, itching him slightly. A small knub had sprouted above his butt from his tailbone. And, his briefs were tighter than usual, which he dismissed to his recently developed horniness from the drink.
Indeed, Mike tried to ignore the feeling that every muscle in his body was sore and swelling.
